Santa Catarina - Pool & Fitness, by Oporto Collection - Adults Only

Three construction sites surround the hotel. The thin walls amplify and echo the noise. The noise was so large, we had difficulty having a conversation in the room. From the looks of the construction site (hammering the stone basement at the moment), it'll be at least a year before the noise ends. We had difficulty reaching the hotel operator, as he can only be reached by email. It took an hour for him to get back to us regarding our cancellation request from the noise. He did not allow us to cancel, but we left anyways as the stay was unbearable. Definitely do not recommend for long or short stay given the situation of the hotel. Also, the swimming pool is much smaller than what it looks in the photos.

We spent a week in this lovely serviced apartment located on Rua Santa Catarina which is approx 1 kilometer from the central shopping precinct of Porto. It provides a very nice breakfast basket every morning which is left by your door and is filled with fresh juice, muffins, croissants, fresh fruit, baked bread rolls, cheese and ham. It varies slightly everyday which is a nice touch. The pool is clean and well maintained as is the property overall. Spa services are available by request at the front desk. We would recommend booking one of the loft apartments that provides extra room and direct access to a laundry and the stone court yard leading up to the pool. These apartments are located to the back of the property so you avoid all street noise which you get at the front. Andrea is very helpful and welcomes you when you arrive. She takes you though a detailed run down on the facilities as well as proving a city map which she uses to point out all the highlights and popular restaurants. Opposite is a great place to eat dinner, serving traditional food and wine. You'll find many more restaurants up & down this street as well as convenience stores only a short walk away. If you turn left as you exit the property and walk approx 500 meters you'll find a metro station in the lovely tree lined park. We can recommend this property for a comfortable stay in Oporto.

We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The room was spacious and beautiful. Check in was very easy with lock box access when we arrived after hours. The pool area was very nice. The hotel is a short walk from many restaurants and the shopping streets.

The apartment was really spacious and clean, and the breakfast was amazing! Joana on reception looked after us from start to finish being extremely helpful in making our stay even more enjoyable! This was an amazing surprise. Tucked away in an old building was hidden this little gem of an apart hotel. Super clean, beautifully decorated and fully equipted to suit your every need. Bed and pillow very comfy. Outside space at back of building includes a seating, sun area, complete with a mini gym. The staff are not only so professional, but very helpful and very friendly. Always on hand, during working hours to help. It's also very near local public parking and a stones throw from the main shopping area Rua Santa Catarina, fabulous shopping, restuarants and cafes can be found here. All in all a very enjoyable experience, which will be repeated, hopefully in 2023. Congrats all round :)))

Prachtig appartement. Omdat we ＞10 nachten hadden was water en koffie gratis. Elke 2 dagen schone handdoeken en bedlinnen. Heel gastvrij personeel. Schoonmaak inbegrepen. Helaas wel veel bouwwerkzaamheden in de omgeving, waardoor de rust regelmatig verstoord werd. Appartement is wel erg gehorig. Appartement ligt wat hogerop gelegen, daardoor de eerste dagen wel wat pijnlijke kuiten;-) Metrostation Marques ligt op 10 min lopen.
