Harbour Inn

Lovely place, decorated to give a beautiful embiance. The bar, restaurant area and the rooms all a pleasure to be in. Beds very comfy, gorgeous pillows and a proper shower. The staff are all very well trained kind, helpful and couldn't fault one of them.

Our whole stay was perfect. We requested a dog friendly room, and on arrival our four legged friend received his own little stay over pack which was lovely The beds are amazing, me and my husband both said we had the best two night sleep, this is also helped by the rooms being the perfect temperature. The room was clean, tidy and well looked after and included everything you needed for your stay. It’s also very quiet which is always good for a night sleep. Breakfast was very nice and it provided a relaxed atmosphere ready to start the day. We also had our evening meal on our first night (we visited family on the second) and all the food we had was lovely - seafood platter, steak, burgers, waffle - all very nice Also have a great selection of beer, wine and some cocktails Overall a perfect place to stay, in a perfect location. PS - the light idea in the bathroom is genius for those late night bathroom trips

The Harbour Inn, Porthleven is a lovely place to eat and stay situated in the stunning Porthleven. Our first visit to Porthleven and we thoroughly enjoyed our night here, it was a pity we couldn’t stay longer however, this was a business trip rather than leisure. Arrived at 3pm Sunday afternoon, checked in and had a stroll to take in the Harbour surroundings. Returned to Harbour Inn for our evening meal. Roast Dinner was first class as was the service. In the morning we enjoyed the breakfast at Harbour Inn too. Clear to see a lot of thought has gone into the recent renovations and the room was cosy and comfortable with a very nice en-suite. All staff very polite and friendly. We didn’t have the best night sleep but felt that was just us being away from home as the bed was extremely comfortable. Felt the room rate was price was very good for sun h a comfortable room with a view of the stunning harbour. Will definitely plan to return in the spring / summer for leisure rather than in connection business next time.

Had the best weekend away at the harbour inn the room was spotless and beautiful, the staff were attentive and welcoming, the room was quiet and we had the best night sleep. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and we will definitely be back.

Have been staying at the Harbour Inn for around ten years, visiting once or twice each year. Its position overlooking the harbour makes it the perfect place. The inn and the team who work there are amazing and work very hard to make your stay comfortable. Each time we book we always get a harbour view room just because it’s the best thing to see when you open the curtains in the morning and also at night with all the coloured lights stretched around the harbour. This stay we was given room 11 which also has a view of the harbour but the size of the room left us feeling a bit squashed in there. It had all the usual facilities but hardly any room to manoeuvre without standing out the way to let your partner pass. We also felt that parts of the room got missed when it got prepared for the next occupant, particularly in the shower room. Having said that the bed was super comfy and everything worked. We ate in the bar twice during our stay, the steak was delicious and the fish and chips was crunchy too (Just how I like my batter) food was hot and well presented. Good choice of food for breakfast, eggs Benedict was lovely. Apart from the size of the room our stay was the same as it always is - Special.

Enjoyable stay, good food & drink. Room cosy, clean with all amenities and a harbour view. Parking a bit sparse, but managed to get a spot each night. Bar lively, but emptied fairly quickly at 11pm, then quiet all night. Staff very pleasant, with special thanks to the girls who made the rooms up each day.
