After a holiday of 5 weeks around the coast of South Africa we've spent 5 amazing nights at Ebonymoon Guesthouse. Roy and Monique gave us a wonderful experience with a lot of usefull tips for activities in the area and every morning a delicious breakfast. Together with Cricket and Scarlett we've had a beautiful time in and around Porterville!

We have just spent 3 nights at Ebonymoon Guesthouse. It was a relaxed creative environment in which to completely unwind. The meals were spectacular, from delicious french toast/omelettes/full breakfast, salad lunches and a dinner of curry and sambals, one night, roasted pork shoulder another homade pizza. The little touches like fresh herbs from the garden, added the final touch, if you visit, remember to request the flambé banana's for dessert! A lot of ingredients are locally sourced with excellent flavours. The hosts, Roy and Monique ensured that the stay was everything we hoped for. We enjoyed the etching workshop that Monique ran for us. There was delicious local coffee and tea available and access to a fully equipped kitchen and fridge, if we wanted it. We have booked our next stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ebonymoon Guesthouse and highly recommend a stay here. Roy and Monique were such gracious hosts. The house has such an artistic flair and really feels like a home away from home. Monique cooked us a delicious curry dinner and the breakfast was amazing also - kept us going all day. Roy and Monique have set a high bar!

Friendly helpful owner. Lovely venue. Very comfortable and relaxed setting. Rooms/shower are nice. Owner let us use the house and kitchen because we booked all 3 rooms.

Amazing, lazy weekend, interesting places and restaurants. Rest for the soul. Warm cozy welcome, after storms and heavy rain was forecast for the weekend. Hope to be back to do the Grootwintershoek Gin

Absolutely fabulous. True South African Hospitality. We had the most wonderful 2 night stay at Ebonymoon Guest House. Monique and Roy are superb hosts...warm, friendly and authentic. Yummy dinners and breakfasts. Great conversation. Lots of laughs. Thank you Roy and Monique. So glad we chose Enonymoon.
