Waves at Surfside

Fantastic house on the beach! Highly recommended! A 4 bedroom house with a private pool right on the beach. Massive house, heaps of room for a group of friends. Staff very helpful. A short drive to town and a very nice bar and restaurant just down the beach. However everything you need in the house to cook for yourself. Also has a washing machine.

There’s a lot going for this place, the view, the cleanliness, the service…….BUT. We stayed in Villa 13 and had issues with the electricity shutting down (no other villa had a problem). Not ideal when you’re trying to cool down a 7 month old baby in an air conditioned room during the night. The hot water worked only when it wanted to. The washing machine didn’t work either. For the price we paid for a family to stay in Villa 13 it was a little disappointing to be honest. We were offered another villa thanks to the management and the friendly staff.

Perfect place to stay with two teenagers. We all had our own space. Villa was well equipped, neat and tidy. Close enough to town but far enough away from the hustle we could relax and enjoy. Locals are super friendly and the Kava bar across the road is welcoming. Breakas next door perfect for meals and drinks, with other dining options within walking distance. Katia went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met & helped us out with a later checkout due to changes to our flights. All staff were friendly and helpful with things to do and visit: Would definitely stay again. Tangkyu tumas 🙏

The property looked nice from the outside but not from the inside. Pool was dirty. Sheets dont get cleaned everyday. Place didnt smell good. Very loud at night due to the waves, felt like the roof was gonna fly off. Kept us up all night. Air conditioning didnt work in muggy hot weather. Big cockroaches everywhere. No room service. Location was ok. Overall not worth the price paid.

Our stay at Waves at Surfside in Pango was absolutely incredible! We stayed in a spacious 3-bedroom beachside villa and were pleasantly surprised by the elegant furnishings and king-size beds. The private swimming pool and ocean view from our bedrooms were pure luxury. Pango surf break, one of Vanuatu's prime surf beaches, provided endless excitement, home to the annual Leimalo Surfing Competition. The convenience of local buses at our doorstep made it easy to explore Port Vila and enjoy nearby restaurants, all just a short ride or walk away. Our adventures included snorkelling in Pango in front of the villa, with the special experience of swimming with a dugong on our first day, surfing the break, and exploring local cuisine at Port Vila markets. Honeymoon Beach offered amazing snorkelling with colourful coral and tropical fish. Waves at Surfside offered the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure and cultural immersion on the Pango peninsula. For an unforgettable beachfront experience in Vanuatu, this is the place to be. We're eager to return for more oceanfront luxury next to the best surf in Efate and the friendly Pango village.

Wow! We loved Waves at Surfside. Three big bedrooms and three separate bathrooms. Living area and small kitchen, that had everything we needed. The view out the front is amazing. At the back the courtyard was terrific, offering a large protected area with a BBQ, dining setting and pool. Every villa has it's own pool which was clean and just lovely. The Villa and grounds were very well maintained. A very private and quiet spot. Across the road from the lovely Pango village, home to kind and friendly local families. The resort is within walking distance to Breakas Resort, Pango Pizza, or Cafe Vila and Three Pigs for meals, or a short bus ride into town to the fruit and veg market, supermarket, bottle shop or Port Vila Restaurants. The surf break is right out the front and swimming on high tide. It's a short bus ride to beautiful Honeymoon Beach and Paradise Cove. The Staff at Surfside are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. Katia stayed back the night we arrived after out flight was delayed and looked after us during our entire stay so well.
