Ogeyi Place Hotel

Ogeyi place has always been my first choice when I am in PH. But, you can’t help but notice the steady decline since losing the Le Meridian brand. I was disappointed to see that the rooms and bathroom are old and crying for renovation. The beauty and old glory is still evident but needs urgent work. The air conditioning did not cool well like before, although the staff were eager to please and fix things it was out of their hands as this a/c was not responding to treatment. However, there are a lot of good points, the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is lacking in variety and could do with urgent review. Overall I’d say Ogeyi is still the best in town but not by much and not for much longer. If you are after modern facilities you might consider a different hotel but, if you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place with friendly staff you might want to consider Ogeyi place. The hotel is good but not great like before and needs some work to uplift the standard of the room furnishings. Ogeyi place is still a good option for comfort but not luxury.
