We've been coming to Pt Elliot every summer for the last 11 years. We love the location but that's about all we love. The park is very run down. Nothing has been updated or upgraded in that time. Half the playground is now missing, the beds in the cabins are uncomfortable with more items missing every year (bedside lights, oven trays) and the lawns are dead. Yet, the prices over the summer school holidays are excessively high! Oh, and every year we get told that they are planning some upgrades in the coming year. We have yet to see any! Come on Port Elliot, lift your game.

This is a site comment. The sites were just dirt with little grass - clearly no watering had been done. Toilet cleaning and rubbish collection were substandard. The only positive is the beauty of the beach - Horseshoe Bay. The price per night should deserve better facilities for campers.

Great location, we had the place mostly to ourselves. Tip for camping in the winter, the sites on the first couple of rows are exposed & can be noisy with the waves. Nice park, facilities are clean, the toilet block, laundry & playground are getting a bit dated compared to other parks we have recently stayed at on Victorian Surf Coast.

We stayed in a cabin this year, which was a great alternative to our usual powered site. Excellent facilities in the cabin, cozy and very comfortable. Air conditioning was a bonus as we had a couple of very hot days. Or stays here never disappoint.

Dont stay here. They are rude. There is only room for one van at check in. Take note of this when checking in or you will block the roadway and they will complain. Water was out for two days. All they could say was 'It's out of our control'. I had to go out and buy fresh drinking water. Go somewhere else.

It is a really clean and tidy park , friendly staff , fantastic location ,easy walking to the Main Street and beach .The facilities are a bit aged but clean ,So many sites to choose from in winter , some with really good shelter and privacy if that is what your looking for. Will definitely go again in winter

I love this park the sites are great the park is so close to one of the best beaches on the south coast. We have stayed there many times in our van. But this time we stayed in a cabin! BIG 4 YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. The cabin floor is covered in lino from 1975, the shower is covered in mould the shower alcove was so old when you stood in it, it felt you were falling through the floor. Every cupboard was peeling as much as I love this place, I hate to say it the cabins need a total make over. Then I was charged 50 dollars extra to have my greyhound stay with me ! Discusting.

The grounds and surrounds were very nice, beautiful setting, right on the beachfront, direct access to the beach. Pt Elliot is a lovely little town, thoroughly enjoyed the visit. That is the only pleasant comment I can make. We were very disappointed with the 2 bedroom “villa” we stayed in. It was possibly okay in its day, but badly needs to be renovated. Cleanliness was a major problem, the shower and toilet areas needed a really good clean, the floor in the toilet gave off an odour similar to a male urinal. The shower floor was disgusting, with rust and cracks, which surely would harbour germs etc. We would not recommend staying here in a “villa” at all.

Visited my children and grandchildren who were staying for the weekend. They booked as the playground looked amazing in the photos. Very disappointed as the playground was very poor, no jumping balloon and really nothing but a big sand pit. Nothing like the photos.
