Cayman Villas Port Douglas

We booked a family holiday (five adults and one infant) at Cayman Villas, based entirely on what we learned from the Internet and from positive online reviews. It was perfect for us! Cayman organised our transfers to and from Cairns (complete with baby capsule) and the three-bedroom apartment was exactly what we needed. We used the BBQ facilities and the kitchen for preparing meals, and also walked the five minutes into the main street for shopping, pubs and restaurants. We swam every day in the pool and at the nearby Four Mile Beach. It was a wonderful 11-day holiday!!!

Great location, close to the beach and restaurants. Big, bright apartment which was really comfortable for our family. kids loved the heated pool. Only downside is the parking spaces are extremely tight, especially stressful in a hire car!

Cayman Villas is close to shops and the marina making it the perfect location for your stay in Port Douglas. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and perfect for our family. The kitchen had everything we needed including a coffee machine to keep my husband happy. We had a room on ground level facing the pool and we loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. I would definitely recommend a stay at Cayman Villas.

This place is a fabulous find! Great location quiet but very close to town. The complex is immaculate and clearly has a dedicated management couple. The units are spacious, spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard. The pool and bbq area are large so even when busy there is still plenty of room. Despite us visiting not long after the cyclone hit there was still plenty to do. We have visited the reef twice both amazing trips. Lots of restaurants and cafes open in town. Visit Chillys and watch the cane toad racing lots of laughs. Really helpful management couple who gave us lots of advice and recommendations.

I would have given this place a 5 star review except for a bit of pettiness on the management side. My issue is that even with a mid week service the establishment is too miserable to replace your two dishwasher tablets and other essential items. To expect guests to pay $50 for those tablets for a one week stay is silly in my view. Otherwise the place is ok but a bit tired .

Fantastic Property! Conveniently located with a 2 minute walk to the Main Street, 5 minute walk to Coles and a 5 min walk to the best beach in town. Also, only a short stumble home from the best cocktail lounge in town (Jimmy Rums) 😆 Friendly, safe and clean neat little coastal town. Pool area is great for the kids and couples. Property has some water toys and a large BBQ area so you can cook and eat without having to leave the poolside. Big Spa at the pool for couples to enjoy once the kids are in bed! Stayed in Villa #27 three bedrooms, great for the family to have space. Looks to have been recently renovated, clean and neat with fantastic dining table, comfortable couch, small sofa bed and a few tvs. Management was friendly and easy to deal with. Will certainly return again in future when we visit Port Douglas. Would highly recommend.
