Hotel Miramar Mallorca

A beautiful hotel, felt like something out of the movies. I went with my 15 year old daughter and we absolutely loved it; glamorous enough for her and yet comfortable and practical enough for me!! Having your own bit of beach and terrace felt super special but practically it meant that even in the peak of the season we knew we would have our space Nothing was too much trouble from special orders at breakfast to arranging day trips and helping with bus timetables. Staff were helpful and friendly and we had a beautiful room on the first floor. In the heart of the pine walk, so wonderful for watching the world go by and yet close those double glazed doors and you are in your quiet air conditioned room. Clean and comfortable, beds turned down every day and towels exchanged as often as wanted- even the beach towels! Definitely going again Thank you hotel miramar

Lovely traditional hotel. Breakfast was excellent and a wonderful high quality selection of foods. We only had dinner once in the hotel and were disappointed. The sun loungers said no reservations bus as usual when we went down to get one they were reserved. All in all the ambience of the hotel was wonderful.

Just home from another wonderful stay at this hotel.From the minute we arrive we feel at home. The whole team are amazing from check in, waiting staff,housekeeping, and the wonderful catering team. Breakfasts , snack lunches and dinner on the terrace were all delicious. The breakfast choices are amazing with fresh fruits, cheeses, cold meats, yogurts , pastries , breads etc and the cooked choices are amazing too. Beautiful eggs, bacon. mushrooms, tomatoes and many more. Location is wonderful for the beach, shops and the Pine Walk. We had a sea view room this time but have stayed in many different rooms at the Miramar. The courtyard rooms are lovely with views over the floral displays in the courtyard. We love the Miramar and cannot fault it in anyway. 5 stars all the way.

Stayed from the 6th to 20th June. Room 404 ( fourth floor with large balcony, 2 sunbeds plus table and chairs ) . Fantastic view over the harbour and beach. Perfect position in the resort. Staff were all fantastic and couldn’t have worked any harder. It was very hot while we were there and the air conditioning in the room worked well ( had to keep it on at night too ). Breakfast in the hotel was lovely. 8-11 each day, sitting on the outside terrace overlooking the beach and the promenade. Lots of returnees at this hotel and I can see why. The only negative that I could say was that the shower was in the bath. We are early 60’s so it was ok ish for us ( would have preferred walk in shower but knew before I came that it would be a shower in the bath ). It could however pose lots of problems for older, less able people. My understanding though is that they are gradually redoing all of the bathrooms but I might be wrong. My room was a good size with a big wardrobe but I did feel that it could have easily fitted another chest of drawers or bedside table ( only one in the room ). All in all this was a lovely hotel in a prime spot and I would return in the future.

Our second visit to The Miramar. Absolutely perfect location in this fabulous resort. Friendly and efficient staff who are understandably very proud of this wonderful hotel. We treated ourselves to a sea view terrace room and it was perfect.

Let's start with the good... great location, beautiful interior, paella from the restaurant was good at dinner, room was comfortable and clean, staff was friendly enough, I suppose. The bad... the sea lounge bar hours are very odd and not properly posted. They close for 90 minutes in the middle of the day and just put up a sign "we'll be back shortly" that's a sign for if the bartender has gone to the bathroom, not siesta. It can't be difficult to have another bartender man the bar in that 90 minutes. Yes you can go into the hotel bar but they service everything in real glassware which is a concern near the water. It also means people can't get water when it's still 28° outside. Madness! The restaurant service was slooooow. I'd pass on the breakfast included, go find somewhere cute in town. There's loads of cafes. Please just get a nespresso machine in the rooms like every other hotel. The clientele is... old.. extremely old. All in all, when the man checking us in told us he was worried what the four seasons would do for their business, I'd be worried too about a luxury 5 star resort (that's not Cap Rocat) on the northern side of the island because that's where we will be staying next time for better service and to not feel like we are in a retirement community in Florida.
