MarSenses Puerto Pollensa Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

Just back from a 5day stay at the Mar Senses Hotel. From the day we arrived till the day we left the staff couldn't be more attentive. Glass of prosecco whilst checking in was a lovely treat! Rooms lovely, pool area laid back and relaxing and hotel beautifully clean. Staff from management to cleaning staff were amazing and anothing was too much trouble. Will be returning, just wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband and myself regularly visit Puerto Pollensa and one of the highlights is an evening meal at MarSenses hotel. Everything is just wonderful, from the friendly welcome to the delicious food and relaxing ambience. A big thank you for making every visit so special.

We arrived at the Mar Senses before lunchtime and had to wait for our room as check-in wasn't until 2pm. However, we were greeted with a warm welcome and a Cava on arrival and were able to use the pool bar etc and store our luggage securely. Don't forget you have to pay the Tourist Tax on arrival and the hotel will copy your passports and return immediately. You can choose to open an account so that all the drinks/food you have can be charged to your room throughout your stay and you can pay on check-out which is 12pm on day of departure. There will be a courtesy room allocated for the day which you need to book if you have a later flight and a locked room in reception is available to store your luggage. We had requested a ground floor room due to mobility issues although there are still steps up to the ground floor in most blocks. We didn't have the best view (Block F on the end) although was partial pool view which I think we preferred than the roadside, the room did smell and feel quite damp as didn't really get the sun to it yet because we had hot weather, I can imagine during off-peak season this would be more noticeable. We also saw rooms that had larger balconies; two of which with sunbeds and parasols on overlooking the pool which if these are pre-bookable/guaranteed, would love to book one of those next time! If you are in blocks G,H,I,J then there is a lift up to the 2nd of 3 floors only but again there are some steps to contend with even if using the lift to get back down to rooms on the 2nd floor and more steps up to the 3rd. We had booked a Suite with separate bedroom to the lounge with sofa bed as there were 3 of us. However, note that there is no door between the lounge and sink/bathroom area so if needing to use the bathroom at night then it would mean putting on the light and disturbing the person sleeping in the lounge so we aimed to do this in the dark. The toilet and shower are behind a frosted glass screen separated from the sink area but the shower itself has a clear screen (see photo). The Junior Suites have an open clear glass shower directly within the bedroom area along with the bath and the toilet screen is frosted so you would need to consider what is best for you dependent upon the people staying together. There is an overhead shower as well as a handheld one with two dispensers with hair/body wash and conditioner as well as a small shelf to put your own bottles. There is a hairdryer (not very good so wish had bought our own) and a dispenser for hand soap, a large mirror on the wall behind the bathroom sink as well as a shaving/magnifying style mirror and socket on the wall to the side of the sink. There is only one hook to the wall in the bathroom (there are another 2 near the front door but some to hang towels/dressing gowns in bathroom/bedroom would be useful). The lounge contains a leatherette sofa/sofa bed, wooden dining table which had 2 leatherette chairs and a wooden stool, a smaller wooden coffe

We stayed at this hotel last summer it was so good from the minute we arrived we were greeted with a glass of pink fizz we loved the food in the restaurant we never felt the need to go out of hotel to eat the dessert were the best I’ve ever had in Spain and we loved the Al-cart at breakfast they was music some evening but not every night and music a couple of times through the day which was nice we have booked again for this year twice 😊 location couldn’t be better handy for everything I need to visit a hospital to have a dressing checked reception were very helpful of pointing me in the right direction sun-bed are a bit of a issue only if you let it see you in July

From the second we arrived it was clear that Marsenses is a special place. Everything was 10/10 as far as we are concerned, the food, the rooms, the decor and the very hard working dedicated staff. Thank you for a wonderful holiday, we WILL be back! X

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Perfectly situated within a stone’s throw of the sea and the beautiful tree lined promenade of Puerto Pollença. Here you will find a great selection of restaurants and bars, where you can watch the world go by. The hotel itself is out of this world. Spotlessly clean and a tranquil little haven. What made it spectacular were the staff. Unbelievably friendly, attentive and polite, whoever trains them should get a medal. I’d like to make a special mention to the following staff who went above and beyond and really made our holiday - Salma, Jesus A and Jesus R, Alba and Alba H, Naty, Andres, Carla, Karina and Alex. Amazing people! The food at breakfast and dinner was fresh, there was lots of choice and I can’t rate it highly enough. The only slight difficulty we had were the stairs, as although the hotel is low rise, there were no lifts and my mum who is 81 struggled a bit! We will definitely return and next time request a ground floor room! 5 star service and a brilliant holiday.
