Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel

Not up to the usual Premier Inn standards, unfortunately the bathroom was looking its age with slightly corroded pipework and rust showing on the towel rail. Breakfast was disappointing with very tough bacon and slightly undercooked sausages.

Cold food at dinner and lack of veggie options for both dinner and breakfast. The cannot even cook you a poached egg for breakfast!

Stayed here for a few nights ,friendly and welcoming staff .Rooms were very comfortable. Food was very nice .Will definitely stay again .

Disgraceful lack of staff to serve in bar and restaurant. Apparently the restaurant is no longer a separate entity, Premier inn have taken it over. Three staff and a chef to run a busy bar/restaurant is appalling. Waiting times for tables, drinks, food orders, food delivery were ridiculous and all the guests were complaining. We felt sorry for the staff who were under immense pressure, they were run off their feet, constantly apologising for waiting times and doing their very best. We thought they were exceptional. The food, when it arrived, was very good. The help yourself buffet breakfast was very good, just needed more staff to replenish it. The rooms were clean and comfy. The hotel is well placed for walking into Poole centre and quayside. It's a shame that lack of staff let's it down badly

The hotel is fine. The rooms are clean (although you do have to ask if you want them cleaned during your stay), the bed was comfortable. I recommend you avoid the pub though. The service was awful. On the first night we booked, with a friend for 19.45. Service was slow and they managed to burn our friend's dinner. He then had to wait half an hour for the replacement, while we ate ours. It then took another half an hour to be served dessert. On the second night we booked for 20.15 (the weather was bad and we were too tired to go elsewhere). By 20.35 we were still waiting to be seated and left in disgust.

Room is was okay, staff really helpful. However as always under staffed in the bar and restaurant and a new one, very little food available, what was the point of a meal deal if half the menu is not available??!! Because of the lack of staff your order for both drinks and food takes an age. It is really not good enough !!
