Premier Inn Poole Centre (Holes Bay) Hotel

Hotel is fine if just looking for a place to stay for a night or 2. The rooms are very worn and not great at suppressing sound of people walking up and down the long corridor, this is quite noisy at tea time as a lot of folk get food delivery and walk out to the car park to recieve their delivery. The restaurant is OK for a basic meal, nothing fancy and portions are relatively small for what you are paying. The breakfast was a let down for me as the food seemed rushed to get out and the bacon was pale and undercooked. Coffee wasn't great either. Staff are a 50/50 mix of pleasant people willing to help and the other half seem like they would rather be anywhere in the world (understandable but not great in the hospitality sector). WiFi is slow and £5 upgrade to premium WiFi still isn't great either. Location is ok if you drive and there is plenty of parking spaces. Overall it would be fine for a night or 2 away for buisness and were happy just to get your head down and away to work in the morning. Not an ideal place for couples or family's in my opinion.

Woke up to a bed full of squashed bedbugs - absolutely disgusting. No one available to tell on leaving in the morning. Called later and was told ‘thanks for letting us know’ and that I ‘should boil my clothes and take a shower!’. Absolutely disgusting customer service too. Called Guest Relations three times and was told I didn’t pass security so they couldn’t talk to me as I’d booked the room through a company travel site but don’t worry it was me who had to sleep in the disgusting bed. So poor. Not what I expect from the brand. Will be looking for other places to stay in the future.

We use Premier Inn about 6 times a year, this one is the worse one we've been to. The bathroom had mold on tiles, towel rail was rusty, paint peeling off skirting. Toilet seat needed replacing. Would of given 1 star but the reception staff were lovely. We walked into Poole which is a good walk. Come on Premier Inn this hotel is not up to your usual standards. Would not return unless it has been refurbished.

Tired from a long four train journey I received a very warm welcome and straightforward check in. The staff were all very helpful and polite and did the formalities quickly. They helpfully pointed me to the side entrance this saving me walking through the long corridor.

i always stay at a premier inn some are better than others i felt the bedroom was starting to look tired the grounds could have been more presentable breakfast was served cold nearly fell over on the drink prices but had a good nights sleep and there was plenty of hot water

Only 2 towls 2 tea bags 2 milk as if it was for a single person. Had to ask for extra. Staff friendly and efficient especially at dinner as we were a group of 28 with different meal orders. Food good on the meal deal. The room was ok and usual standard. As I have said before need to have 2 comfortable chairs. Good location for poole harbour. As we were on a birding trip to catch a harbour boat next day.
