La Jacotière

Perfect place for visiting Mont St Michel. Closer to the Mont than the coach park, local eating places near by, comfy room, lovely breakfast, very friendly and helpful host. You can also see the Mont from the gardnes, which is exciting when you first arrive. We walked to the Mont, both ways. No problem. If you're confused about where to stay, don't be. Book here!

It is worth it to stay for the location alone, but add to that Veronique's very personal service and this is a great choice when visiting MSM. We drove there and arrived early (Veronique is fine for you to park your car before and after official check in and check out times). Be aware that to get to the property you need to drive down a road that indicates no cars (as there is no access to the village or MSM or parking down the road), but that sign does not apply when staying at this property. Luckily our room (no.1) was ready despite our early arrival, and she was fine to let us check in. Thorough tour of the facilities (including an ingenious idea where every guest gets a basket in the large fridge in the utility area to store there own items) and we headed off using her directions to MSM. On our return we drank our drinks in the garden looking at the great view of MSM, then walked to dinner at L'Hippocampe (also recommended). Good night's sleep and then a good quality generous continental breakfast in the morning, served by Veronique but with as many refills as you like. I had looked at all the hotel choices in the village, and on MSM itself, and was very glad we chose this place to stay.

Superb choice for a visit to Mont St Michel. It's closer to the Mont than the parking or the navette terminus, and right by the walking path. La Jacotiere is modern, well equipped, the host is fabulous and speaks good English, bed was comfy and the place is scrupulously clean. Breakfast is a good choice, you eat at your own table, and hot drinks and juice are waiting for you when you arrive (hot drinks in thermos). Couldn't fault it and it was a great option which we thoroughly enjoyed. The host also provides clear and detailed information about how to visit the Mont, which was very useful, and recommended restaurants for both the evenings of our stay, and even made the phone call for us. And both were excellent. Would stay there again with no hesitation.

Es un bed & breakfast perfecto para ir a Mont Saint Michel. Aunque llegues antes de el check in puedes dejar el carro xon las maletas sin riesfo que te roben. No te cuesta extra el estacionamiento, ya que los demas hoteles tienen problemas con las clabes de acceso a los estacionamientos del pueblito, o que estan llenos sus estacionamientos. Aqui no existe ningun problema. Aunque es una habitación sencilla, está lo suficientemente cómoda para dormir bien y perfectamente limpia. Inckuye un desayuno y la anfitriona es super amable y detallista en preparar el desayino diariamente. Desde el lugar se ve Mont Sant Michelle y a dos calles puedes tomar el camioncito gratuito, o si lo deseas, se puede caminar directo desde el lugar. Estuvimos dos noches y fué mágico ir a MSM antes de que lleguen ñas multitudes e ir a comer ahi después de que se fuera toda la gente. Una experiencia maravillosa. El dia de tu salida sin ningun problema puedes dejar el carro ahi mientras disfrutas debtus ultimos.momentos ahí.
