Lovely welcome & check in from reception. Breakfast check in not so nice, & she had a real attitude with us picking where we wanted to sit. It was really early & we had just woken up, the lady being so regimental & forceful with us ruined breakfast really. She needed to recognise we are on a weekend break, not children being seated in the school dining hall. We had to ask her to back away from us as she was speaking so loudly so early, & ordering us about, then she walked away bad mouthing us to other staff members when she was actually the one making things awful. Apart from that we enjoyed the stay. Nice old fashioned style rooms. We had lots of space with a large bed & large TV so was very happy with the room. Pretty flower wallpaper & a nice traditional feel to the decor. Very good value for the price we paid. Thank you

L'hotel Copthorn è convenientemente situato a pochi passi dalla stazione ferroviaria principale e a circa 10 minuti dalla costa e dal centro commerciale. Il personale dell'hotel è cordiale e le camere spaziose con bollitore, caffè e frigorifero. Ho alloggiato in una camera club al 4° piano. La cena era deliziosa e la colazione inclusa era sufficiente per iniziare bene la giornata. C'è una palestra disponibile che non ho utilizzato. Ritornerei se dovessi essere di nuovo a Plymouth. Nel complesso un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel durante una vacanza itinerante. Tutto sommato la struttura non è male. Le camere sono sufficientemente spaziose e confortevoli. Nota dolente la cena presso il ristorante dell’hotel. Definirla vergognosa vale quanto un complimento! Ci è stata proposta una cena a buffet che in realtà non valeva nemmeno la mensa di una ONLUS per senzatetto! Cibo di scarsissima qualità praticamente immangiabile.

Fab 3 night stay recently at The Grosvenor in Plymouth. Found all the staff to be really nice & pleasant, everything all clean & tidy throughout, comfy bed in nice quiet room, WiFi signal was great, brilliant location right by the seafront & only a short walk from the town centre & bus station - slightly longer to the train station but doable, breakfast available onsite if wanted. Stayed in room no 25, a single room, everything was all good. Couldn't find fault with anything & will definitely book another stay here again in the future. Many thanks

L'hotel era convenientemente situato nel centro di Plymouth, ma quasi mi è mancato, perché l'ingresso è solo una porta. Ho avuto una stanza accessibile e l’unica colpa era che non potevo raggiungere il treno nel cassetto, ma mi hanno promesso che questo sarebbe stato corretto non appena l’ho fatto notare. La camera da pranzo era molto calda e potevano farlo con un paio di altri fan, ma il continente era perfettamente adatti. Un po' troppo prezioso per quello che era, ma resterò di nuovo.Grazie.

From arrival to departure, was a pleasure t o be there. The whole place, from communal area to bedrooms was decorated to a very high standard. Everywhere was spotless and the whole building smelled clean and fresh. My friend and I were made to feel very welcome on arrival. The room was well equipped and the beds were really comfy. Breakfast was plentiful and the 'Full English' was cooked to perfection!! I have already recommended to friends and if ever I need to stay in Plymouth again, I will be sure to return to Cassandra Guest House. Excellent all round. All the best and thank you - Michelle

Great central location, the town centre outside the entrance and the Barbican a few minutes away via the nearby lanes. The studio is clean, minimalist, compact but not claustrophobic, although would probably be more appropriate for a young couple or busy visitor. Innovative use of limited space, but fitted with cooker, microwave and fridge if you want to live independently (although there is a vast array of restaurants, cafés, bars and takeaways on your doorstep). The reception is manned until 10pm. Late arrivals contact the duty manager who will advise them of the key safe combination at the entrance. My reservation was via a booking agent, but the duty manager maintained I was required to pay a security deposit, which was not included in the booking confirmation; if it was on the website (as he insisted) it was not prominently advertised. I challenged this, so I would advise guests to double check the check-in process prior to arrival. Despite this setback, my short stay here was pleasant. The location is a significant bonus, and the quirky nature of the decor and included amenities made an encouraging change to the larger chain hotels close by. Would gladly return again for a non-business stay.

In un ottimo luogo con una passeggiata a Plymouth Hoe la Old Pier House è un ottimo luogo per soggiornare. Wendy la donna era incredibile, e ci ha fatto piacere e accogliere. La stanza è confortevole con un bel bagno moderno, una doccia buona e un sacco di tè e caffè. Il pranzo è stato eccellente con cereali, succhi e frutta per integrare un completo inglese, vegetariano e uova sulle opzioni di tosta. Resterò qui di nuovo e consiglierei di soggiornare a Old Pier House se avete bisogno di alloggio a Plymouth.

Al decimo piano con la meravigliosa vista Hoe e tutto ciò che lo circonda è già un soggiorno di per sé eccezionale. In generale, ottimo hotel in stile contemporaneo, servizio professionale, King room con vista mare eccellente, il ristorante al roof è un'esperienza da fare. Il tutto completato da una rilassante e ampia piscina. Prezzo concorrenziale.
