HL Miraflor Suites Hotel

When we arrived there is no reception to this hotel. You have to check in at a hotel across the road. There is no communication from either hotel to suggest this. If it hadn’t had been for another couple suggesting we would have had no idea that we would have needed to check in at a different hotel. The lady on reception was very rude towards us considering we had only just arrived. We were given the key to our room and a map explaining where we would find our room. On arrival to our room I cannot say that we were overwhelmed with what we were seeing. The room was very dated and dusty. There were small bugs crawling on the floor and walls in the bathroom. The air conditioning did not work, we ended up trying to fix ourselves as it was now 23:00. We ended up sitting outside the room until about 2am as it was cooler outside than it was inside the room. We had been back to reception at the other hotel to explain this and were told there was nothing they could do until the morning and to come back after breakfast. After managing only a couple of hour sleep due to the heat we went for breakfast, breakfast was ok with an average buffet, nothing spectacular. When we went back to reception it was the same member of staff we saw during the night. Again there was nothing they could do to help. I asked about upgrading rooms and was told it would be another £360 ontop of what we had already paid. We could not spend another night in the same room so ended up paying for the upgrade. Again the reception staff were rude about us complaining even though they were getting more money from us. Throughout the rest of the week we had a better room (at cost) but the food didn’t differ much each day, all the fresh meat and fish on the grill was unseasoned and dry. There was nothing much different each day to the next. The all inclusive drinks aren’t that much to rave about if you like acidic wine or fizzy drinks. We had a few cocktails but there are only 3 on the menu to choose from. There was a member of the bar team who was also rude and seemed like we annoyed her by asking for drinks. Then the same member of staff would chat with other Spanish guests all happy and cheerful. If you are booking a room do not go for the bungalow/balcony option, choose the next room up from this. You’ll thank me later. We would probably not return to this hotel due to the service and attitudes of the staff working there.

Really comfortable bed, good food. i like always animation team because im boring in hotel with my family. and i join with animation yesterday i was in salsa class with Nathan and i know other animators nicolo and claudia . i recommend this hotel for the team animation
