HL Miraflor Suites

The hotel is old, dirty and facilities in bad conditions. 1. The room - fungi under the shower and on the steeling, dirty, furniture nearly "destroyed". 2. House keeping - not doing their job, floors not cleaned (unless escalated), trash not take out regularly, internal sidewalks dirty with bird excrement (the hotel hosts several pea cock families naturally pooing everywhere) . 3. Food - We had all inclusive option. Not only the dinner service that starts 6.30 pm is empty 10 min past 7pm, but also only pay as you go guests are being served by the waiters (including taking used dishes or glasses from the table). One day, when we complied there is no food, the answers were "no inglese", we were also called vulgar adjectives but hotel stuff. The worst vacations in my life. I have filed complain to the local resident and the travel agency if not satisfied by the response, I will sue the agency/hotel.

It’s not what I would expect from an all-inclusive place, there’s only one small dining room and one small bar, also there were SET TIMES for breakfast, dinner and evening meal I totally get that there is only so much you can eat, but when you’re used to all inclusive and being able to eat any time, then this just seems like a step backwards to me

Nice hotel. Staff nice, rooms ok. Pool area a good size and well contained. Food was not great, we had breakfast and dinner included and we ate both outside of the complex every day. The area had not got much going on, not a great selection of restaurants or shops. One fantastic place for food though is the Bistro at the top of the round! Amazing breakfast / brunch and lunch!

Hi I have tried to email you because I booked this hotel because I saw the stunning picture of the rooms online but after seeing the last few reviews I am a little concerned as all say outdated accommodation I only booked this hotel due to the pictures I saw of the nice rooms. Not had any response from My email and really want to stay in one of the nice new rooms

First of all, I must say the staff here are amazing, and are HL's greatest asset. Really helpful and nothing was ever a problem . The Reception staff are multilingual and full of good advice. Little touches like having a snack available for our late arrival (sandwich, fruit and a couple of bottles of water) helped to make us feel welcome The resort itself however is not great. It's listed as a 4 star but really is not. More like a 3 (at a push) The bungalows are tired,mostly in need of renovation. Thankfully my bungalow had functioning AC as temps were in the high 30s for the week. My friends bungalow unfortunately did not. The bungalow itself was very clean but shower/bathroom tiles were v grubby and stained (age and water marks- not dirt) The tiles around the walkways were falling off the walls. The sunbeds by the pool were reserved with towels before breakfast. (despite signs stating that this was not allowed) making it difficult to relax near the pool- unless you sat out at 8am! The pool itself was lovely, sectioned into 2 -a fresh water and salt water pool. (Handy if you wanted a dip while aqua aerobics was happening) There was also a baby pool for the toddlers. There was a life guard on duty from 10am to 6 pm. In other reviews , they mention use of sister hotel HL Rhonda, (across the road) as an alternative for dining but it is currently undergoing renovation. This is a shame as the food at Miraflor Suites was not great. The choices weren't brilliant and there was very little spanish food on the menu. The inside seated section is not air conditioned which is uncomfortable in August temperatures. I booked half board, so only ate breakfast and dinner. While there was plenty of food the quality was inconsistent. Breakfast hot dishes were often cold (eggs) or poorly cooked (bacon) There were plenty of cold meats, pastries, cheeses fruit cereal etc. For dinner it seemed that food ran out really quickly. If you missed the salad for instance there was a long wait for it to be topped up. Fish dishes were great. There was a lot of pork.( Either over or under cooked.) Not much variety (For balance, I was told by other guests that the lunch choices were tasty but can't comment. ) The dinner on our last night (Friday 18th August ) was amazing. Just a shame it couldn't be like that all week. My biggest bugbear was about water with meals. There were jugs of chilled sparkling and still water, which seemingly everyone helped themselves to. However I was informed by the barman on my third evening that this was only available to all inclusive guests and I should order from my server at the table. (The beer wine and soft drinks I understand, but water???) There were signs near the beer and soft drink fountains but not near the water. This would have been less of an issue if it had been mentioned at check in, (a bottle of water at the table was only 1.60 eu after all) As it was I was just left embarrassed. I was really disappointed with the hotel .. in 1 hour you have seen everything there was to see. the rooms are too small. we are all gathered around a small swimming pool. it does not deserve these 4 stars at all. the staff is unfriendly. there is no mini bar in the room, and no drinking water. if you want to drink something you have to go to the only bar of the hotel located around the swimming pool. past 10:30 p.m. your All Inclusive past is no longer of any use to you and you will have to pay for your consumption, even for water .. if you like to drink water during the night remember to stock up in your room with the cups in cardboard that you are given to drink. Frankly, I am very disappointed with this experience. I did another hotel on the island which was also 4 star and it was really on another level. I strongly advise against it. I hope that my opinion will help this mediocre hotel to improve and invest in a warmer and more welcoming atmosphere.

Connected to the Hotel Rondo the miraflor bungalows were perfect. The staff on arriving and all through they stay were excellent (99% of them ) the bungalow was great clean and so close to pool and bar. The bar staff during the day were excellent and the animations team too who work really hard. Always something going on for all ages and although I was alone it never felt to loud or intrusive. As all inclusive the food was fine.

Just come back from miraflor suites and hotel rondo playa de ingles highly recommend amazing staff food and a lovely bungalows pools and bars loads of entertainment oh and not to forget the peacocks definitely will return

The staff is unbelievably kind and helpful. The receptionists, restaurant staff, housekeeping, bartenders (especially Eli!!), and the entertainment team (Anna!) are just there to make your vacation unforgettable. The site is carefully taken care of and looks stunning. There is a large pool. They provide a large variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner (including a lot of fresh salads). One crucial negative must be mentioned though: the bungalows need a major update. They are pretty noisy, and the interior is literally falling apart. Hopefully, after the current renovation of hotel HL Rondo, the HL management will decide to continue the renovation work at Miraflor. Until that time, we will book somewhere else.
