Hotel in zona Frick Park, Pittsburgh

Questo è un hotel molto decente. E 'molto meglio di quello che abbiamo soggiornato in fondo alla strada. Inizialmente abbiamo prenotato uno studio con 2 letti regina, ma siamo stati aggiornati a una suite da bagno 2 bedroom/2. I miei figli erano eccitati perché avevano la propria camera, la TV e il bagno. Mio marito apprezzava la vista del bagno privato e del canto con molte finestre. Era molto spazioso. La nostra camera era elencata come un letto re, ma sembrava più come una regina. Le mutandine e le matite non erano molto confortevoli, il che era deludente. Le bagni erano pulite. Le camere erano belle, ma un po' polverose. Le aree cucina/viva non erano così pulite. Il divano era pillolato e aveva i capelli biondi su di esso. Le gabbie, il forno, la tavola, le sedie e il frigo erano dischi e impronte digitali, che ho trovato un po' grosse. Anche se c'era una cucina piena, non c'era nessuna pulizia da parte di un pezzo di rulli di tovaglioli di carta a buon mercato. Senza spray disinfettante. Fortunatamente non abbiamo bisogno di usare la cucina. In un momento, abbiamo usato due forbici e una tazza, quindi ho chiamato il desk per qualche detergente e mi hanno portato dei pannolini che non abbiamo usato. Ho comprato i clorox per pulire la cassaforte e lasciato la coppa e le forbici lavati nel bacino per lavare la casa. Nonostante queste carenze, probabilmente rimarremo qui di nuovo. Ci saremo solo meglio preparati. Inoltre, si prega di sapere che il parcheggio è arrivato prima, prima servito. Parcheggiamo e camminiamo verso le nostre destinazioni, che è stato molto facile, dal momento che l'hotel è a destra di Forbes Ave.

L'hotel è vicino al centro di Pittsburgh (sud del fiume Monongahela), la città può essere facilmente esplorato a piedi da lì, si può raggiungere il centro della città in 30 minuti a piedi. Solo un punto negativo è che è necessario attraversare una zona piuttosto ombra che potrebbe essere insicura per alcune persone. L'hotel è buono, la camera era spaziosa e i letti erano molto confortevoli, la bagno mostrava piccoli punti di molla - non è grave, ma la colazione è servita in un bel ambiente. Aveva una grande selezione (uova, bacon, salsicce, dolci, pane, formaggio di crema, giochi e iogurt, come pure farina di ovo) e era molto gusto - che ci piaceva. La macchina del caffè all'interno della stanza era davvero stupida, ho premuto il pulsante per inserire il caffè e quasi caduto. Ho informato il ricevitore e mi ha detto che potevo sempre ottenere caffè e acqua calda dalla zona di colazione che era molto apprezzata. Quando sono rimasto lì per un fine settimana, ho usato un parcheggio pubblico - gratuitamente - nei pressi di un quartiere diretto e non ho pagato per il parcheggio hotel piuttosto costoso.

Grande luogo per soggiornare a Pitts. Connesso al Centro di Convenzione David Lawrence è un convento. Molti ristoranti trendy nelle vicinanze. Il personale è stato gentile e utile. Il concierge è stato particolarmente utile alle nostre esigenze e prenotazioni della città. Camere affidabili.

Bellissimo, spazioso e un grande hotel! Anche se è un po 'vecchio ma è ben tenuto e pulito. L'hotel lobby è situato sul 25° piano. Guarda dalla nostra camera è stato anche fantastico!

Wyndham Pitts deve essere elogiato per la sua posizione centrale e vista libera della confluenza dei Three Rivers, a un prezzo eccellente! Il check-in era facile e il viaggio in altre parti della città era molto facile, con diverse strutture come negozi di convenienza 24 ore e bar da jazz a piedi. Si può anche camminare al museo Andy Warhol attraverso i ponti maestosi di Tre Sisters e anche il Duquesne Incline per una vista fantastica della città. Probabilmente si potrebbe solo lamentare dei mobili invecchiati con alcune sezioni di legno craccate o ***** di pareti, e pensavo che sarebbe stato meglio avere una caldaia nella stanza.

Perfetta posizione se si sta partecipando ad un evento nella zona della costa settentrionale! Stai fuori dall'hotel e si trova proprio fuori dalla porta del People’s Park per PNC o a 10 minuti a piedi a Lombardi. Siamo venuti per un spettacolo al stage AE & erano così felici di andare velocemente verso e da il luogo. Inoltre, si può camminare rapidamente lungo il fiume o fare una passeggiata nel centro. La colazione mattina è uno dei migliori servizi che abbia mai avuto a un RI. L'uomo che mette in servizio è un uomo di guardia e si assicura che tutto sia di alto livello (pasti di salsa erano deliziosi). Tutto era fresco e caldo. Se stai parcheggiando nel parcheggio, guardate gli unghie. C'è un sito di costruzione lungo la strada e abbiamo lasciato il parcheggio con 2 unghie nei nostri pneumatici. (Nota: ci siamo rimasti Nov 2023) Voglio solo dire che Julian al divano era così bello! Molto conosciuto sulla zona.

Non abbiamo avuto problemi con niente all'hotel. Tutto è andato bene.

Il check-in era facile e il servizio era molto amichevole. La piscina era un po' sporca ma calda. Non ci sono state date sapone a mano, shampoo, o sapone da bagno per la stanza, ma non c'era alcun problema di ottenere dalla scrivania di fronte quando ci siamo chiesti. In generale, siamo stati felici di stare e saremmo sicuramente rimasti.

I always start a review with the positives. I also don't like to be part of the problem but part of the solution and try to always offer helpful suggestions if I make a valid complaint. That said... The room at the Holiday Inn PIT Airport was PRETTY clean. I saw dark, long hairs on the bathroom floor (my hair is short and blonde,) and in the tub which led me to think the bathroom wasn't clean. However, the toilet and sink were seemingly wiped down and plenty of towels were accessible. The beds are comfy, the rooms are large, and we appreciate the outdoor pool in the warmer months. My husband and I stay here quite often, as many as 4 times a year or more, often with a multi-night stay, and we enjoy using the pool. The location for us is convenient to restaurants, shopping and the airport. Holiday Inn Pittsburgh Airport in general meets our needs. The breakfast is very good. Lots of a variety of hot foods and coffee. The waitstaff is always helpful in bringing out supplies, refilling coffee, hot food, a ”to go” bag if needed, etc. That all said, there is this very heavy set MEAN blonde lady with glasses that makes us cower and cringe each time we enter the hotel. We DON'T want to ask her for anything as she ALWAYS makes us feel like we are BOTHERING her. She seems to work the day shift, from early morning til 3 p.m. or so, as we have noticed and we try to make my requests and ask questions AFTER she is gone for the day. How ridiculous is this?!! Case in point: During one particular stay, I asked for more bars of soap for our room. I prefer bar soap. I shouldn't have to feel ”sheepish” about asking. They are mini and not full-sized bars of soap. We usually stay an average of 3 nights when we come to town and the hubs and i prefer bar soap to the bodywash and need more than one teensy bar for the two of us between the shower and sink for 3 days of usage. Get this one....She told us to use the bodywash in the containers on the shower wall and asked us if we had checked to see if the container of body wash was full!!!?? She seems to like to provoke an ARGUMENT! Then she preceded to tell us how she was instructed to hand out the minimum as in the case of the soap. I was thinking: ” Lady, please just open the drawer behind you and give us the dang soap!!” It's NOT a difficult request. I'm thinking: What happened to the old adage, ”The customer is always right?” The staff certainly should not ARGUE with the customer. A hotel front desk clerk works in the hospitality business and should provide the customer with ”hassle free” service. NOT! We don't ask for much. We don't ask for the room to be serviced with fresh towels, etc. during our usual 2 to 3 night stay. Was asking for mini bars of soap too difficult of a request? Today in our hotel room, I went to wash my hands after leftovers from an early lunch (around 11:00 a.m.,) to find that there was NO WATER. It had obviously been shut off. Why? We called the front desk to find out what happene
