Carra Beag Guest House

this place is unassumingly awesome! the owners have paid attention to every detail, the hotel is beautiful. the rooms are tastefully done, quiet and very comfortable. we stayed for three nights, it's centrally located so we were able to go to Perth and see all the castles we wanted to, and Inverness was only an hour and a half away. away. The town has many great shops and restaurants!! The owners are exceptional, there's a nice little fire in the living area where you can sit and relax. breakfast is off the hook amazing! we loved our stay here!

We stayed at Carre Beag Guest House for a long weekend and loved it. The owners have done everything right. Our room was so comfy and had so many special touches. The breakfast every morning was spectacular. The location is an easy walk to town, where there is a great selection of shops and restaurants.

Thank you so much for a magical 2 night stay with our family. You are such welcoming hosts, and the gorgeous fireplace in the lounge was roaring upon our arrival. We chose this place by virtue of it being available and within budget, ie without much thought, but boy are we lucky we did! What a gem! Recently taken over by a really lovely couple who clearly know what they’re doing and love their jobs. The whole place was spotlessly clean and so comfortable. The rooms were well equipped with snacks, kettle, fridge, even a TV with Amazon Firestick. The breakfast was just delicious, high quality ingredients cooked perfectly. We loved that each guest gets a wee form to fill out each night to order their own specific breakfast for the next day (with no extra charges for larger quantities of each ingredient) to reduce food waste and ensure everyone gets what they want. The common area was lovely and comfy with open fireplace and a fridge full of drinks and snacks. Service was so friendly and personal. Finally the location was perfect, we left our car in the car park for the whole stay as everything is within a 5-10 minute walk but the house is far enough back from the main street that there was no noise late at night. Would recommend this place to anyone, thanks for looking after us so well and we’ll definitely be back. :)

The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Helen and Mark are great hosts. They are cheerful, helpful and seem dedicated to guests comfort. The breakfast are really good with a lot of choice and can be heroic if your looking to do serious walking or fishing. Parking is on-site and spacious. Well done Helen and Mark, we really enjoyed our stay. Andy & Caroline

We stayed for two nights and it was absolutely beautiful place to stay. The room was spotless and really cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with so much to choose from with quality products. Mark and Helen the owners are the most friendly and welcoming people you can ask for which made our stay one of the best breaks we've had!!
