Tides was very nice to stay for the night . Very reasonably priced. Close to downtown and beach. Great stay in Pismo.

Very modern looking and clean rooms. A few small issues but the price was low enough to make the issues acceptable. The wall-unit AC/Heater unit was loud and turned on and off all night and the shower drained very slowly, so we were always in a puddle of water. The shower is the size of a phone booth, but modern and clean (other than the drainage). The staff was friendly enough. Not overly personal or outgoing but still courteous. It didn't appear that the gas fire pits were working as there were always people around them but they were never on, and it was very cold at night! Very nice view of the ocean but there is no beach access.

10/10, Highly recommend!! Had an amazing stay with even more amazing views! Watched the sunset from our bed. Plus had a little balcony. You can tell the rooms have been updated, they are super clean and the bed is comfy! We even had a kitchen in our room.

Loved it. We’ve stayed in a cottage and the view was gorgeous. One of the TV remotes was a little hard to get to work, but that’s was our only complaint lol. The people who worked there were very accommodating. We cannot wait to be able to come back again

Beautiful little motel on the Central Coast. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely take advantage of the facilities and free breakfast next door at the Sea Crest Resort as they are under the same ownership. Sunsets are amazing and the weather is mild year round.

Fantastic location with safe parking and easy access to stores, gas stations, fast food restaurants, and the freeway. It’s just a couple of miles from the Pismo Pier, with plenty of beach access points nearby. I highly recommend Blast & Brew for great food and excellent service. Tides In treats you like family, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with a fridge and coffee maker. Plus, the big-screen TVs make it easy to unwind after a day at the beach. The property is just steps from the sand, offering incredible views and breathtaking sunsets. There are comfortable seating areas to relax, play cornhole, or simply people-watch. It’s also just a short drive to Avila Beach, adding even more to explore. Overall, The Tides Ocean View Inn & Cottages was the perfect getaway—well worth the time and money. I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Had the most amazing stay at the new and improved tides. Our family have been staying for years and our experience after the renovations have exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the beach house to celebrate my daughters sweet 16. The views from the beach house are spectacular. The amenities are a one stop shop from a beautiful full kitchen, game room, comfortable beds and a cozy living room with fire place. My whole family felt at home. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and accommodating our request during our stay.

All staff were very accommodating throughout our stay. So happy the owners have chosen to retain the initial footprint and ambiance of the property. Was rold the property just finished renovation. Have stayed here prior to the renovation of the property and will definitely return.

The whole room was smely with strong Clorox Your guests from the room above us came in around 2.00am and started to scream, and throw things, seems that they were destroying the room, pulling and dragging objects and jumping like crazy, the noise was unbearable and all lasted for 2 hours approx a really bad experience. My whole family and kids could not rest that night,
