Embassy Suites by Hilton Pigeon Forge Resort

I have been waiting for 2 years for this hotel to open and I was finally able to stay here during my recent trip to Pigeon Forge. While the hotel was beautiful and welcoming, the bar/reception area was mismanaged and laid out in a way disruptive to adults wanting to relax at the bar. First and foremost, the bar staff allowed preschool aged children to actually sit at the bar (4-5 year olds). I found this in poor taste to the atmosphere and made my time at the bar uncomfortable. Second, the entire area is overrun with children, loudly playing pool and other sports within feet from the bar area. While I understand and welcome children in the recreational area, designing the recreation area (pool tables, etc.) as close as 6 feet from the bar disrupts adults who just want to relax and wind down for the evening. I think a better layout that positioned child friendly games away from the actual bar would have been a better design that is welcoming to both families and adults/couples who are traveling to the hotel.

This is a new hotel. There not totally finished with it. We stayed in a King studio balcony suite. Think the bed was a California king not a regular one. We like a softer mattress so had them bring an extra mattress pad and then also put the comforter below the fitted sheet. Worked for us. I liked the arrangement of the room. The bathroom light comes on automatically which was a little annoying in the middle of the night. I'd prefer the night light instead of auto on. I noticed a few ants in the bathroom so reported it and they came and sprayed. Room was clean. We had a good view from the balcony. Since it's new they still are working the kinks out. For some reason the big firepit in the open air breakfast area didn't work. There are a lot of things to keep your kids occupied. The breakfast crew did a great job of cleaning tables and even came and picked up your empty dishes. Speaking of breakfast it's still the same old hotel breakfast. Their made to order omelets were very good. We did eat supper one night and it was good. The manager reception was just ok. We don't drink wine, it would have been nice if they had a blender for different drinks. We were on the 6th floor and hardly ever had to wait for the elevators. They were the best!!!! I was disappointed as a gold member that my room requests I made when making our reservation weren't fulfilled. We don't have housekeeping do our room while we stay at any hotel so I requested enough washcloths and regular coffee for the week to be in the room but sadly they weren't so I had to go to the front desk and obtain them.

The Embassy Suites in Pigeon Forge, a nearly new hotel close to Dollywood, is visually striking but marred by a few issues. The swim-up bar has no menu, which is unexpected, and lunch options are limited to unappealing cold sandwiches from a cooler. More aggravating is the loud, obscure B-side music by unknown artists blaring in the outdoor areas, particularly on the 7th floor. At 5 a.m., I stepped outside hoping to enjoy a serene sunrise with mountain views, but the noise pollution ruined the moment. Complaining to the manager changed nothing. Worst of all, a fire alarm forced me out of bed in the middle of the night, requiring me to get dressed and evacuate the hotel—only for it to be a false alarm. A hotel has one chance to make an impression.

Nice people good looking people good view to the mountains beautiful rooms. The food is amazing. Place for the kids to have fun all day long.

Very great experience! The location is great and staff is super nice! David, Scotty, and MacGuire are fantastic upstairs, best service I have gotten at a hotel!

Great hotel with a 7th floor Bar/Restaurant/Entertainment set up that offers incredible views. The Bartenders offer great service (David, Scotty, and David) and good conversation. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the amazing views after a long day. Even a full golf simulator is available to entertain your group. The Outdoor pool is also fantastic plenty of chairs to relax and soak in the rays plus with swim up bar.
