Hotel in zona Vinpearl Safari, Phu Quoc Island

Pros: - good location, walking distance to Grand World - low price, best if you don’t spend much time at the hotel and mostly out and about - clean and modern decor Cons: - no aircon in corridor and elevator, it can be very uncomfortable to step in the elevator on hot days - no room service, no service at pool area, no option to pay for food and beverage at check out. - minibar is empty, instant coffee and tea bags are available yet no milk. When we requested milk for our cup of tea, the reception staff advised we would need to go to the bar (ground floor) to purchase milk at own cost. Milk is essential and it has always been provided free of charge wherever we’ve been (Bali, Singapore, Australia, etc.) - mid-stay ROOM INSPECTION. This is very UNPLEASANT practice to Westerners and should be stopped. Not sure if this is normal in Vietnam, but it is very displeasing and annoying to us (Australians). We often stayed a few weeks to months in Bali and other Asian countries, we’ve never had room inspection where 2 staff entered our room, 1 of them walked around the room pretending to check the skirting board with a screwdriver while the other was casing the room (it was obvious that they wanted to check to room). - poor English proficiency. Only one reception staff can speak English well, the rest of the staff don’t. My husband was quite frustrated during our stay because he couldn’t communicate with staff. We’ve stayed in Bali and other Asian countries, all of their staff are fluent in English including security and housekeeping staff. - lack of attention to food safety. Signage is very small. No cover when the meals bought outside to the pool area. Food was not kept at optimum temperature can cause bacteria to grow to dangerous levels that can cause illness. - lack of knowledge about beverage. Staff didn’t understand my husband’s order of Bourbon + Cola (very common drinks to Westerners) and advised they don’t have Bourbon. When my husband went to the bar with the staff, there was a big Bourbon bottle sitting on the shelf! - lack of customer service. Staff was not attentive to customers, my husband had to walked to the restaurant to get staff attention when we wanted food and drinks while we were at the pool. Staff should walk around and simply check in with customers. Staff didn’t greet customers when they walk past, again when we were in Bali and other Asian countries, their staff (everyone including housekeeping staff) always said good morning, good afternoon or good evening. - FACIAL BIOMETRICS RECOGNITION was an entry requirement to enter buffet breakfast. This should be disclosed in booking description including third-party websites like Agoda, Booking.com, etc. No information on Facial Biometrics Recognition are found anywhere or has ever been communicated to us prior to checking in. La pulizia delle stanze è terribile, il balcone è sporco, non puliscono il pavimento del bagno, solo una scopa, negli angoli della stanza è pieno di sporcizia. Al servizio in camera, ogni volta che ordinavo un hamburger, le patate venivano così vecchie e così dure che quasi mi rompevano un dente, le peggiori patatine fritte che abbia mai mangiato in vita mia, a parte quelle della vinoasi. Troppe telecamere in giro per l'hotel lo fanno sembrare un reality show, praticamente esci dalla stanza non hai più privacy, per di più quando arrivi in piscina ci sono 4 bagnini che ti controllano e ti guardano, in spiaggia ci sono sette bagnini , una vera esagerazione , ti senti osservato per tutto il tuo soggiorno! Buono ho trovato la pulizia degli ambienti comuni e la pulizia del mare antistante. I dipendenti quasi non capiscono quello che dici, la maggior parte non parla nemmeno le basi In inglese la televisione ha solo canali vietnamiti, il che è orribile perché ho passato dieci giorni senza poter guardare la televisione. Gli addetti al servizio in camera sono molto cordiali, anche i camerieri. Ma devono migliorare molto per raggiungere il livello di un resort a 5 stelle. Teli mare vecchi e logori.

I miei ricordi sono Phu Quoc andare con vacanze di viaggio familiare. Wyndham giardino hotel comodo e bel posto, la camera è pulita. Colazione è buona, personale Thuong amichevole e buon servizio, vicino al grande mondo, vigna Oder e safari. Ho avuto una famiglia di tempo meravigliosa a Phu Quoc.

Prima di tutto il cibo in servizio in camera è molto cattiva e troppo costoso. Sono malato e dovevamo usarlo, ma preferivo rimanere fame allora. Non abbastanza letti solari sulla spiaggia: dovresti andare alla spiaggia non più tardi otto ore per ottenere un divano. Sono rimasto molto colpito dal servizio dell'hotel. Le camere sono esattamente come descritte. All'interno dell'hotel ci sono molte attività da fare. Personalmente siamo andati alla jacuzzi e alla sauna e l'abbiamo trovato molto rilassante. La camera da letto era pulita e gli addetti alla reception erano tutti gentili. C'è un enorme divario dopo il trasferimento da Regent. Sebbene la stanza sia grande, non è molto pulita. I travel the world with Marriott brand only, this is the very disappointed Sheraton Phu Quoc that I happen to stay, I booked a family suite oceanfront during June1-5,2023. This review written on June 2,2023. It isn’t 5 star resort. Marriott Should not put their name on it, because it degrade the quality of Marriott Brand. We check in during lunch and went to Garden restaurant, the lunch buffer have nothing worth to eat so we order from menu total of 5 hot dish for 5 of us, only 3 dish come out 20 minute, 1 dish come out 45 minute later and final dish never come. So 1 of us can’t have lunch. We lelf the restaurant and came to our SUITE all the keys doesn’t work so after the trip to front desk again finally we got in the suite. The room temperature was at 25C degrees and keep go up. Call the maintenance no help there The resort is old and need upgrade ASAP including AC units. We went down to front desk and request to change the room, they told us to leave our phone number so they can contact us regarding the room transfer. We never received the call, we have to went out to find a decent place for our dinner because we are not sure about restaurant dinner buffet!!! So by the time get to the room we too tired to call and bother the front desk. I am a Platium Bonvoy of the Marriott. It mean I stay at least 50 nights per year with Marriott. This is the first time I feel like I got cheat out of 5 stars resort. So today I will ask them to cancel the rest of the stay and move to another resort, hopefully JW Marriott in the other end of the island. My review is not prejudiced about the staff or Food not even the normal wear and tear of the resort but mainly with the management team. On the small note to resort management director. You should try your own food in the restaurant including the ice cream in the snack bar, I think the Ice cream was there too long. I wish all the best to my fellow guess and hope that you will be better luck then me. After my first impression with The 5 star resort. I would like update my review. Just one action of the top team management in breakfast room, it change my opinion and I am very appreciated his customer services. His name is Mr Hoang. He fresh up my family’s morning with an offer a cup of Green Tea, when services like that happen, it took out of all the bad experience and show you how great the staff can brighten your day. Furthermore in the long conversation he explains to me the new management just took over last September 2022 and in process of remodel the resort. Also the staff had been trained and continue to update their customers services. Therefore I would like to update my review with a 5 stars and continue to believe in Marriott branding Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach. This is on my day 4 at the resort and I am very happy to share with everyone. Thank you for read my review and after all we have a happy ending. Excellent service, convenient location, and extremely helpful staff. I'm in utter love with this place. The décor of the brand-new room was sophisticated and elegant. The hotel employees provided excellent service, which made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Leila, in particular, was kind and thoughtful in setting everything up for us, and she always comes with a big, genuine smile, which makes us even happier. She went above and above to make my stay as enjoyable as possible by planning my routes to visit various locations on my own, explaining in detail how to get there, and reserving my ticket to the airport. We want to express our gratitude for making our experience spectacular and incredibly memorable. Overall experience can be expressed in 3 syllables Fa Bu Lous, can’t wait to go back.

Ho prenotato circa $ 650 a notte, l'intero hotel, sia all'interno che all'esterno, è molto bello, i cuscini sono un po' sgonfi, bisogna chiamare per cambiare gli altri cuscini, non c'è praticamente nulla nella stanza per essere pignoli, la spiaggia della piscina è bellissima, vale la pena venire qui per scattare foto, la colazione ha molte scelte ma peccato, sono un po' deluso, e sono andato alla Elements spa devo compilare un sacco di gesti Non ho abbastanza forza, devo ricordarglielo spesso, la stanza ha un bagno e una doccia, dopo il massaggio ho fatto una doccia in camera, ma ho scoperto che non c'era acqua calda, le ho chiesto perché non c'era acqua calda? Ha detto che bisogna farsi una doccia nello spogliatoio al piano di sotto, lo spogliatoio ha anche una sauna da forno e una doccia, non capisco, c'è una doccia nella stanza, ma non l'acqua calda per i clienti, un massaggio per cambiarsi e l'altra doccia dello spogliatoio femminile, esattamente quello della partita. Premetto che il massaggio con pietre calde costa 500 $ in più a persona per 90 minuti, Penso che questo prezzo sia un po' caro, questa domanda Elements spa non vale il massaggio. L'isola di Phu Quoc è famosa per i massaggi economici, in pratica puoi andare in altri posti per farti fare un massaggio (non scegliere l'hotel). Con 200 $ puoi fare un massaggio per 90 minuti e l'ambiente non sarà poi così male.
