Hotel in zona Nhà Thờ Họ Hoàng, Phong Son

A number of reviews have commented on the location of this resort. It is located beside the river, about 5km from Hue. At the time of our visit (late April 2024) there was road work on the last couple of km’s of the road before the resort. We were told this should be finished within the next few months. However we had drivers pick us up and drop us off without incident. We also saw other guests using taxis, and we had no problems getting Grab cars to collect us and take us back (for a total cost of less than US$10 for the 2 trips). The shuttle referred to on the hotel website is not currently operating, but we did not see access as an issue. As an upside of the location it was very peaceful at night (our previous stop had been at Hoi An where the river resort we stayed at in the centre had been quite noisy at night.) Some comments have also been made on the gardens being over grown and the resort being run down. We did not see it this way. The gardens are not formal – they include fruit trees which are being farmed for their fruit – but they were being actively maintained. The pool is very nice. (See photos) The room was comfortable and clean and tidy with excellent air conditioning. The bed was very hard and some more storage space in the room would be good. The staff were all friendly and very eager to help with things like organising transport and suggesting places for meals. The resort was not very busy at the time of our stay. As a result, while they had the breakfast buffet operating on our first morning (a weekend), on week days the routine was to collect a form from reception to select your breakfast and time, and drop it back to reception the night before – it was then served in the restaurant at the time chosen. This seemed to work well. We ate in the restaurant the first night, and the food was good, though we were the only people in the room. Most guests seem to opt to get transport into Hue-proper for dinner, where there are lots of great options for a meal. All in all a very pleasant, comfortable and quiet stay.

Immerso nel verde di un giardino in festa, dove i colori esplodono e i profumi della natura sono discrete comp****, il lodge é un vero e proprio “buen retiro”. Distante circa quindici minuti da Hué, non è raggiungibile a piedi: per gli spostamenti è necessario farsi chiamare un taxi (costo di circa 5 euro per corsa), non disponendo di una navetta privata. È il prezzo da pagare per un tuffo in piscina in mezzo al verde, per cercare riposo e pace, per leggere un libro dopo una giornata di turismo impazzito ascoltando il rumore dei grilli (confidando nel silenzio dei vicini di camera). Colazione di cucina locale abbondante ma non esagerata, di buona qualità. Wi-Fi ben funzionante negli appartamenti. Stanze pulite, confortevoli, pur se ecosostenibili. Personale attento.

Ancient Hue Gardens is the most picturesque boutique hotels I stayed at in Vietnam. The rooms are in a historical style with well appointed furniture and settings but with modern conveniences like outlets and TV with streaming and a classy bathroom suite. It's not only Instagram worthy but also a great boutique hotel to stay at on its own merits. The staff friendliness far exceeded any other hotel I stayed at. For example, our check in host showed us around the entire room and reach amenity and when we wanted to book the spa he personally came to our suite to ask our time preference and make the booking for us. The food is excellent with a variety of choices. In fact, this property became initially known for its food, both French and Vietnamese traditional, even though the villas are such a unique find. It's definitely the perfect vibe if you come to Hue for the historical scenery and sites and the unique food of the region. Cleanliness was perfect with turndown service at night. I would make Hue a permanent fixture in my future Vietnam trips for this hotel alone.

Un hotel moderno, ben designato, con un forte nodo dove si trova. Abbiamo visitato il spa, mangiato nel ristorante diverse volte. Il mio unico commento non positivo è un lieve mancato processo e coerenza. Il personale era carino e attento, ma il processo di esperienza del bagno ha bisogno di un po' di aggravamento, la coerenza della presentazione del drink e della tavola nella sala da pranzo è un po' pericoloso e la custodia è anche un po' incoerente. Le piccole cose, ma solo un po' al livello della proprietà.

La miglior posizione della città di Liu Xinghai, ben educato, parlerà il personale inglese. Il pasto e la cena del ristorante sono entusiasti e dolci, naturalmente, più alti del prezzo medio di zolfo, ma si può parlare e ordinare interessanti con il direttore generale in base alle opinioni del personale della sala.La cena è buona, il vino è buono e non c'è niente da dire.Ho fornito la migliore ospite per mia moglie. I ricevitori erano così meravigliosi e caldi, mi hanno dato i suggerimenti su dove mangiare e dove andare, i suggerimenti sul tempo, mi hanno dato acqua prima di partire, parlato con il mio pilota Grab per me, e quando ho detto che stavo cercando Bú bò Hu ế, hanno organizzato di avere per Mi hanno incoraggiato a provare il caffè salato, una specialità Hue, che avevano a disposizione per colazione e mi sono compiaciuto di aver fatto (anche se non fossi un bevitore di caffè). La mia stanza era esattamente come era nelle foto, e mi piaceva! Il letto era spazioso e confortevole, la camera e il bagno erano senza spot (mi piaceva soprattutto la progettazione della camera da bagno), e avevano tutto quello che avevo bisogno. Con un lobby benvenuto e grandi interni, sicuramente è stata la mia oasi a Hue (soprattutto durante il giorno più caldo della storia del Vietnam)!

Hotel tranquillo, comodo, vecchio stile, con corridoi di tappeti, grandi camere, molto comodi letti gemelli che erano più come doppie e un bel colazione. Abbiamo avuto quattro notti qui, dormito bene, 20 minuti a piedi per la città lungo una bella passeggiata sul fiume, bellissimi caffè e caffè locali nella zona - ma abbastanza lontano dalla città per essere lontano dal rumore e dai rivelatori notturni tardi. È possibile andare in bicicletta alla Città Imperiale e l'hotel offre biciclette gratuite su richiesta. Il posto più interessante e consigliamo come un hotel senza fritte, grande valore, tranquillo con un senso di a per età .... la piscina era bella per un dip ma in realtà più piccola di quanto le foto suggeriscono! Un grande hotel di città è stato offerto con bagni, flip-flop, bagno, una gamma di canali TV sicuri e sicuri, tra cui i film.

The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. They always greeting and smiling to us. The breakfasts were amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials and . I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to the tourists who want to go to Hue.

Il bellissimo proprietario Quy e sua moglie si sono fermati indietro per guardarmi durante il mio soggiorno. Un paio di esempi: non riuscivo a trovare un tour DMZ che stava correndo, quindi Quy ha organizzato un viaggio con un amico di lui in macchina privata per un prezzo molto ragionevole. Ho comprato un biglietto per l'autobus a Hoi An e la compagnia di autobus ha ordinato l'hotel di cancellare - quando ho scoperto che era, i proprietari erano già al telefono cercando di trovarmi un'alternativa. Non avrei potuto chiedere una migliore esperienza, grazie tante a Qui e alla vostra bella famiglia per avermi reso così benvenuta. Devo dire anche che la stanza era bella e estremamente pulita, più che in una grande posizione. Raccomanderò Canary Boutique a chiunque, ma soprattutto a viaggiatori solitari, perché il livello di cura che ho qui mi ha assolutamente fatto. Le darei 11/10 se potessi!
