Phi Phi Island Cabana Hotel

We had room facing the beach, the view was lovely but music from beach nightclubs was unbearable every night, not one English chanel on a TV with snowy reception, breakfast cold and the one morning there was a cockroach running over food I told staff and just got a shrug, hotel needs some serious updating, plus side pool is nice, I wouldn't stay there again.

In general it was a nice stay, the pros beat the cons. The location, views and service were worth it, even after knowing more about this hotel history. The hotel is really well located, very close to the island central area and harbors (for tours and ferry). The staff was waiting us by the ferry and helped to carry the luggage back to the hotel. The staff was very friendly in general, except for some on the pool bar. The stay was very confortable and the view from the pool is stunning! The hotel is old and need some refurbishment, mainly inside the rooms, but it is understandable. Many complaints about the party noises, but I believe there are almost no place in the village to avoid them, the bars exaggerate on the "music" bass level. The hotel supply earplugs to help with it, in case you have difficulty sleeping. The breakfast was really complete and nice, but the time to refill the stations could be improved. Another point of improvement may be the cleaning. Unfortunately, we found a insect (seemed like a roach) inside the safe.

This hotel is at a very convenient location, a short walk from Tonsai pier, so there are a lot of food options and activities nearby. The rooms are big and clean with an amazing view of the beach. We definately recomment staying here!

Absolutely beautiful hotel in an amazing location but you can hear the bass from the beach parties near by. If you get eat plugs you might be ok but it’s so annoying as it’s all you can hear till about 2am. The breakfast is ok it’s the kind of place you just sort yourself out at. Room cleaning is good if you get up late they will still attend to your room. If you’re looking for a beautiful stay this is the place but just remember at night you might need assistance with the noise.

This hotel is only five minute walk from the pier come outside. It’s beautiful. Also inside is clean the customer services was friendly and helpful. My room was on third floor which meant walking a lot of steps upstairs and there was no less which was hard for me. The pool of the hotel is lovely it’s got deep side and a Shallow side for kids. Outside the pool at 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock they put out some snacks tea and coffee which was nice. I must add the breakfast wasn’t brilliant it could’ve been better with more variety. My room was lovely, but inside it’s dark I’m surprised they painted the walls chocolate colour it should’ve been white the balcony with a good view of the sea the room I had the bathroom I was surprised it’s very old and needs ramping up to make it look more modern. The air-conditioning is excellent, the TV also his flat screen. Overall, this hotel is based in the best area it’s only a two minute walk as they have McDonald’s and Burger King. Loads of other restaurants shops and street food on the corner. The only change I would make of this hotel is the bathroom it’s very old and the bedroom colour needs to be changed.
