We booked a seven-night stay at Dhawa Ho Tram through Luxury Escapes to unwind after a busy sightseeing tour in Vietnam. The resort offers convenient pick-up and drop-off services from Ho Chi Minh City, albeit with set timings. Our room and the resort amenities were impeccably clean, and the bedding was delightfully comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, communication was occasionally challenging due to a language barrier, as many staff members were not fluent in English. Nevertheless, the activities and recreational manager, Mr. Lam, made our stay memorable with fantastic events, including a fun-filled foam party, a well-maintained pool, and a fully equipped gym. Vicky from Azura, along with Mr. Chein and Ms. Tyuen from Nook, were especially warm and accommodating. Due to the local summer school holidays, the resort was bustling with guests, which sometimes resulted in a noisier environment. We could hear activity from other guests even at 10 pm. It would be beneficial to limit access to the gym and playground after 9 pm to maintain a quieter atmosphere. Additionally, we noticed the absence of designated smoking areas, with guests smoking near the children's playground, pool, and outside restaurants. Establishing specific smoking zones would greatly enhance the experience for non-smoking guests and families. Overall, Dhawa Ho Tram is a lovely resort with excellent amenities and a welcoming staff, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Implementing a few improvements would elevate the experience even further.
