Noir Lion : Chambres d'hôtes

This small hotel is perfectly located to visit the nearby WW1 sites associated with the Battle of the Somme. Our group could not fault the personal service which we received, Sophie was helpful and was willing to change things to suit our requirements. The rooms were comfortable, beds good and all necessary amenities were provided. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh baked bread and pastries, home made preserves and much more. I would definitely recommend this establishment if you are planning a visit to the area.

Excellent place to stop in the Somme area, good room with an excellent shower. Our host Sophie laid out a super breakfast, she also recommended a good place for an evening meal just a short walk into Peronne. A very nice spot with private parking.

Not so easy to find in a small but central street, friendly welcome. Nice clean rooms, large bathrooms. As for the breakfast: The best bread and croissons, homemade marmelade! Everything the village has to offernis in walking distance. If you like it real quiet ask for room towards garden.

We enjoyed our stay here so much that we returned for another night. Very nice room that looked out on the garden. Short walk to town center. Off-street parking. Good breakfast. Friendly host. All of this at a very reasonable price. We look forward to returning one day.

Strange there are so few reviews for what is a perfect B&B. Sophie makes you very welcome to her home which has 5 very smart well decorated and equipped rooms. Not huge but ideal. We had a garden view. The garden is nice and sunny with good furniture and help yourself hot drinks. Good off street parking and a very short stroll to the town centre. Breakfast is superb. Price is even better certain worth a lot more!!!

Le Noir Lion : le lieu idéal pour séjourner à Péronne, à deux pas du château et de quelques restaurants sympathiques ("Le Bistrot d'Antoine", par exemple) ! L'accueil de Sophie est topissime, elle n'hésite pas à donner de son temps pour partager ses conseils, ses bonnes adresses, son vécu. Toujours avec le sourire ! Sa demeure ancienne est pleine de charme, les chambres sont aménagées avec goût, les salles de bains sont très fonctionnelles, la literie est vraiment confortable et les lieux sont très calmes. On s'y sent vraiment bien ! Le petit-déjeuner, copieux, est délicieux : confitures "maison", excellent pain frais et viennoiseries savoureuses... Tout est réuni pour que le séjour soit agréable et reposant ! Merci Sophie :-)
