The Lake View Hotel

I stayed at the Lake View Hotel for Ultra Trail Snowdonia. The hotel is about a mile from where the event village was this year. Amy and James were very welcoming. James taking my bags up for me and Amy taking me though the wheres and the hows of the Hotel and area. The room was great, bed was very comfortable and I had no trouble getting off to sleep despite my pre-race nerves. There is noise from the road outside but it gets quieter at night. It didn't affect my sleep. Food was delicious. I had a cooked breakfast on the second morning which was just what I needed after the previous day's race (as were the beers provided post race!) Unfortunately I didn't so so well in my race but the journey back home has given me time to think and I'll likely sign up again for 2026. I'd definitely be booking a room at the Lake View Hotel again as well.

A fantastic two night stay at The Lake View hotel with a group of friends. Two of us shared a spacious twin room with ensuite shower. From arrival Amy was very welcoming and gave clear instructions on how to get to and from Llanberis as well as the facilities on offer there. The services was impeccable the whole time and we thoroughly enjoyed the cooked breakfasts - Amy was prompt with coffee top ups and extra toast. This place really is an immaculate home from home and we enjoyed a few glasses of wine in the lounge with the log burner following our hike. Thank you so much Amy and James. The Lake View hotel really was a great find and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

Comfy bed. Clean room and bathroom. Attentive and friendly hosts. Welcoming environment. Great location (close to both Llanberis and transport routes around the area! Amazing breakfast!!! I have no complaints regarding my stay here, and will definitely be back in the future! I highly recommend for any coming to the area!

This was perfect for my needs. A quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of Llanberis but near enough to access everything. A beautiful spot and a lovely room overlooking the lake. Free parking. The breakfast was fantastic - nothing was too much trouble for the owners who were super friendly. Thank you.

This is a lovely place to stay. Everything was simple, spotless, clean and fresh and cosy. Places to relax, conservatory and bar cum lounge and help yourself philosophy. The breakfasts were delicious, particularly James’s muesli. The owners set just the right tone which is not easy to do.We would stay here again at the drop of a hat.

A fantastic place to stay. The owners are brilliant and very welcoming. The place is absolutely spotless and the food very nice. The room was cosy and clean .Loved the lounge area with free tea and coffee 24 hours a day. My wife and I have stayed in many B and Bs and this rates as one of the best. Really couldn’t fault it
