Bowmont Motel

Had a great experience! They upgraded us to a room with a private patio over looking the pool free of charge! They also have the friendliest staff :) such a great location close to everything you need, with plenty of parking and just a short walk to the beach and market

Room was kept nice and clean including all the bed blankets and pillow sheets. I feel safe spending my night in this motel. I would highly recommend it.

Our room was non-smoking but it had obviously been smoked in previously to the point where the air was pretty gross. The deadbolt to our door didn't work, and the walls are so thin you can hear everything going on outside and in adjacent rooms. We booked this place partially because it had a hot tub, but it was out of service. We spent 30 minutes here before finding a different hotel to stay at. It was worth losing the $70 on this room to not have to spend the night here.

Manager yelled at a lady in the office about the cleaning and called the maintenance person on speaker phone and yelled at him while I was standing in the office. Disrespectful. Filthy tub, floors. Found ******** and cob webs and bugs-dead & alive. 1/4 " gap under ground floor door. Good things- Nice beds and bedding. AC worked through heat wave. Free BBQ & music one night. Website misleading because testimonies from past when owners/ managers were truly respectful and had clean rooms.

Very nice bed, good price, got a way bigger place than expected with an extra bed plus I got locked out late at night and the owner was right out to help within minutes of calling the late number! Great service

Loved how we had a kitchen and an extra bedroom in the space. Provided lovely soaps and washing soaps/shampoos. Room was warm and air conditioning worked wonders. Would love to come out during spring/summer to check out that incredible pool and patio area. Next time am in town I know where am staying!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Bromont motel. The room was clean, great location close to the beach and many restaurants, the bed was comfortable, there was a heated pool and the staff was really nice and helpful ! I would 100% recommend.

We went to the Bowmont Motel for the second year in a row. It was great to see some improvements, because it is quite an old place. We are excited for next years booking, We love staying here for our little family get away!

The staff were beyond rude and awful. We tried checking in a few times, but were unable to check in “early” which was fine (even though family after family checked in before and after us). Then check in time came and they said they needed more time. After 20-25 minutes I go back and they give me a key and say “hopefully a couple more minutes it’ll be ready”. At this point we are so thrown off and to top it off, they don’t even tell us where the room is. I’m trying to explain this to the female when the male comes out from behind the counter, gets in my face and tells me if I don’t like it we can leave, and tries shooing me out the door. I’m in disbelief so I take the time to secure another hotel (best decision out of all this so far!) and go back to confirm he said they wouldn’t charge me etc and give the key back. I told him I wanted proof of refund and I already gave the key back and he starts yelling at me that they don’t have keys, it’s all codes; even though I was handed a physical key and the female had it in her hand. After they called me a ***** and dragged their feet I was finally able to get a receipt confirmation to be on my way. They were so rude, disrespectful, attempted to be intimidating and the place was grungy at best, and aside from a decent location it’s not worth the hassle. We booked at a hotel a block away that included a breakfast, way better staff, pool et all and saved $300 in doing so!!
