Soundside Holiday Beach Resort

The week before my wife called and explained that she had severe allergies and requested they ensure a good cleaning before our arrival. The lady she spoke with said that should not be a problem. We got there on Saturday evening and checked in. Upon putting our stuff in the unit we discovered the drapes at the sliding door to the screened in room was stained and smelled of smoke. My wife tried the phone in the unit to call the front office but the phone did not work and never worked for the four days we stayed. She went to the front office and spoke to the gentleman that checked us in (later to find out he was the GM). He ended up coming to the room to see the iisue. He ended up taking drapes from another units and replacing them in our units plus he cleaned the sliding door track with a Mr. Clean eraser ( it was terrible). Then on Monday my contacted the front desk lady to had maintenance and housekeeping come to our room. The pillows were shown to them and they smelled of smoke and mold was in the bathroom vent and ceiling. The housekeeper and maintenance person was outstanding in doing follow-up to make sure thing got taken care of. We ended up leaving mid-week due to hurricane Helene heading that direction. Would love to go back to Pensacola in the future but would not stay here.

Soundside is a wonderful place. It has everything you need and more. We brought our family (kids aging from 9-18). Everyone loved the condo, pool, tennis court, and location to the beach. We cannot wait to return.

I own a timeshare there. It has always been clean and well maintained. No bugs, bad smells, dirty sheets, carpet stains, stains on walls or in the bathrooms, or other things that people complain about in hotels. The people upstairs must have had kids tho, that ran across the floor over and over again. Beach is right across the street. Kids beach is about 500 feet away. Plenty of food nearby.

Unit was very clean. 8 minute walk to the beautiful beach. Very nice restaurants within walking distance. I look forward to returning some day.

Our unit had new flooring. Furniture is ok...like typical older Florida beach condos and not modern, but completely acceptable and nothing wrong with them. Someone complained about the bar next doors loud music, but that was one of my favorite things! We had drinks on our patio and enjoyed it a few times. Pool and hot tub were ust resurfaced and refilled this week, so nice and clean. Also heated and kids enjoyed it even on 65° days. Free fishing off dock there. We borrowed tennis rackets and balls from office to see just how terrible my kids are at tennis. I saw they also have some family games to borrow as well. We crossed the street and went to the beach several times. Walking distance to shopping and many restaurants. Great location and we had a good week.

Great location. The apartments had everything we needed. Staff was wonderful and quick to respond to any needs or requests. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Nice view of the bay. Nice dock out on the bay

Nice stay for 10 days. Pros: centrally located and within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and beach. Condos are spacious with full kitchen and screened balconies where you can see the water (the sound, not the gulf) and watch parasailing. The office has games and jigsaw puzzles to check out. The porch swings overlooking the water were enjoyable. Cons: Neighbors could be heard talking, walking, and playing music. Tennis court needs repaved.

Walk across the road for path to beautiful beach. Most restaurants are within walking distance as is the Oasis Massage which was amazing. Most units have view of the sound from a screened in deck. Pier with steps to the sound right at the property if you want calm shallow water without the waves to play or float in.

The only timeshare on Pensacola Beach! there are numerous restaurants, convenience store, gift shops, and intercoastal beaches and Gulf of Mexico Beaches within walking distance! The mainland necessities are just moments away from HBRS over the bridge. No more backups at toll booths! They photo your license plate and send bill to your home.
