An amazing two-night stay that left us wishing for more. The historical building and spacious room were exceptional, so well curated, yet warm and personal. Nico and Christanne are extremely generous hosts, worrying for us during a sudden rainstorm while we were at the top of the hill, welcoming us into their kitchen where the magic happens, sharing a glass of wine after dinner for a wide ranging chat, accommodating an earlier than expected departure, and helping us make the most of our time with recommended visits to villages we had not even considered. The dinner was beyond compare, asparagus wrapped in nori with house smoked salmon, duck breast in a divine orange sauce on puréed carrots, a cantaloupe mousse with a lemon sauce and home made cookie crisps. Oh my. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Nico and Christian welcomed us with open arms to their spotless B&B. So much to do in this beautiful part of France. Medieval castles and cathedrals, traditional markets, museums, hiking trails, kayaking etc. We took advantage of their delicious French cooking. It was superb to say the least. We spent 6 days exploring the area and there was still so much left to do. We will be back at la maison au puits for sure. Thank you Christian and Nico from Marij and Harold from Denver Colorado

It’s difficult to describe ‘perfect’ as everyone’s opinion and perception is different. This is my kind of perfect, the ambiance , wonderful. The food, excellent, the hosts, fantastic. We had dinner- at the big table, with other guests from France, Belgium/Spain. No language barrier for the food spoke for itself! Would highly recommend, every time I visit I try to make it to the table and each time it goes up another notch. Well done Nico and Christianne. Barry

What a delightful Bed & Breakfast. Nico and Christianne were phenomenal hosts. Nico is a top notch, hands down the best 5 star chef. We loved the town, the charm of the accommodations but one of the main reasons we came was to experience Nico’s cooking. It did not disappoint! Nor did the entire experience. It was an incredible all around stay!

My wife and I stayed for two nights, dinner, bed and breakfast and we had a wonderful time. Our hosts were amazing, nothing was too much trouble which made our stay over even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend taking the dinner option! You will be blown away by the food and the service, the host is an amazing chef and the hostess is elegant service personified! Fantastic chambre d’hote. You must visit. Amazingly small hotel with character. Rooms extremely well appointed. Nico and Christina were superlative hosts. Food was without doubt the best that we had during our fortnight in France. Excellent value. Do not hesitate to book.

Gezellige chambres d’hôtes met een heerlijke tables d’hôtes en de gastvrouw en -heer zijn hele lieve mensen. Echt een plek waar je wil logeren! Vlakbij het dorp Cordes (loopafstand) maar dan mèt parking vlakbij. Alles gewoon top.

Un accueil chaleureux et personnalisé. Un site pittoresque rénové avec goût et soins. Un petit déjeuner excellent partagé à la Table d’Hôtes 🤩 Nous n’avons pas eu la chance de tester la restauration mais ce n’est que partie remise 😉 Une très bonne adresse à recommander sans crainte.
