Beautiful property with a friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast is delicious, too. It’s about a 15 minute walk (or three minute drive) to the heart of historic Pendleton, which has a small but perfectly formed grassy central square, surrounded by independent shops and restaurants. Check out the Pendleton Candy, named the best candy shop in South Carolina.

I stayed with Michael and Angela at Liberty for a Clemson Football weekend. My only regret is that my wife couldn’t be there with me. When I arrived, Michael greeted me personally and gave me a tour and history lesson of this gorgeous southern property. Liberty radiates traditional southern charm, both inside and out. When you make your way to breakfast, your place setting is already waiting for you in the form of cold water, hot coffee, and a fruit parfait. Once you’ve sat down, you’re greeted with warm hospitality, and shortly thereafter a fresh hot breakfast that is second to none. Everything was outstanding, but the Eggs Benedict, French Toast, and the Hash Brown Casserole were my favorites. I absolutely will be back. Only next time, I’ll bring my wife.

A couple friends and I wanted a quick getaway! We could not have picked a more perfect place! It was superb, endless treats for snacking, rooms were spacious and more then comfy! The location is walking distance to fine Restaurants and shops! The inn keepers were warm and helpful! A season full of pollen and not a drop of it on the fabulous porch as we rocked away sipping wine and enjoying the sounds of birds in the magnificent old trees! Will return for sure!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Liberty Hall!! My wife came here annually for over 10 years back in the early 90's so it was a very reminiscent stay. The house has been completely remodeled recently and they have done an excellent job of retaining it's original qualities while restoring its historical attributes (beautiful wood floors, wrap around porches, etc). It is absolutely exquisite!!! The recent new owners Susan and her husband provided us with a lovely tasty southern style breakfast and were extremely hospitable. It is a short walk into the charming Pendleton town square where there are several shops and places to eat. Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the many porches and relax in this truly beautiful place!!!

We held my granddaughter’s graduation dinner at this beautiful place. I highly recommend for the outstanding accommodations and the beautiful setting. The place is just gorgeous and I can’t thank the owner’s enough for making our event an unforgettable one.

An immaculate southern mansion. Our room was large, quiet, and comfortable. Includes a home-cooked southern breakfast. Beautiful sitting porch along the front and plenty of outdoor sitting space. Short walk into charming downtown Pendleton with lots of good restaurants.

We got married at Liberty Hall just over 25 years ago. It's changed hands a few times since then and is as lovely as it was then. Fabulous breakfast, welcoming owners, and we loved sitting on the porch in the evening. Hopefully we will return again soon!
