Built in 1993, the luxurious Fyffe Country Lodge boasts stylish boutique decor and handmade furniture. Just 300 metres from the shoreline, it offers free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi access and free use of bicycles. Guests can enjoy beautiful views of Mount Fyffe and Kaikoura Ranges from the lodge. All guest rooms feature views of mountain, courtyard or the garden. Each is equipped with electric blankets, a personal safe and TV. The en suite bathroom offers shower and a hairdryer. The cottage rooms have double-glazed windows for added comfort. The property has an outdoor courtyard and a beautifully manicured English-style garden. Some local activities available include fishing, whale watching and golf. The Fyffe Restaurant is a seasonal restaurant operating from October to April by prior arrangement. It serves dinner and specializes in seafood. During winter months, guests can enjoy their meals by the fireplace in the dining room. This lodge is located a 6-minute drive from Kaikoura’s town centre. Kaikoura Fyffe Country Lodge offers privacy and exclusivity. It is a 1-minute drive from Kaikoura Airport and Kaikoura Golf Club is a 10-minute drive away. This hotel is set in a beautiful garden with views over the mountains. Our hostess Chris was a lovely person and did everything to make us welcome, including inviting us for drinks before we went out for dinner (the restaurant was closed as we were the only guests in off peak season).The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean and a lot of care has been taken with their decoration. We had free wifi use in the bar area. We had a perfect breakfast and then took coffee in the garden to enjoy the view.

Absolutely stunning property that exudes quality throughout. Chris and Colin were perfect hosts and the food was magnificent. Our room was fabulous but all the rooms seemed large and well equipped. The dining room is very imposing and the bar area cosy and comfortable with lovely views of the mountains and the superb English gardens. We only stayed the one night but wished we could have stayed longer.

Top quality and impeccably clean, this beautifully decorated lodge has a stunning backdrop of meticulously manicured gardens and the Kaikoura mountain range in the distance. We decided to treat ourselves and stay at luxury accommodation for our wedding anniversary. We were thrilled that Chris & Colin upgraded us to a beautiful, spacious suite! The hosts were there to see to our every need, and we enjoyed chatting with them. I would recommend a stay here - go on, treat yourself!

We LOVED our stay at Fyffe Country Lodge!! The garden and mountain views were gorgeous (we could easily see why someone would want to be married here), the food was yummy, and Chris and Colin were the perfect hosts!! Our room was AMAZING!! It was very spacious...and had TWO bathrooms!! After breakfast Colin gave us some of his gardening tips (I plan on implementing some of them), and Chris graciously let me pet her sheep and showed me gray pumpkins (I had never seen gray pumpkins before) and some of her beautiful flowers. I didn't want to leave!!

We stayed here for 2 nights . The hosts Chris & Colin were extremely gracious and welcoming . We dined in both nights and enjoyed our meals with lovely wines. The breakfast was equally good plentiful and fresh. Lovely figs & peaches from their garden were delicious. They gave us the honeymoon suite which had excellent views of their garden and the mountains with stunning sunsets every evening. The garden is beautifully manicured with excellent backdrop of mountains. We wish them all the best in their business and recommend people try staying out of the town where it is so busy and crowded. Fyffe Lodge was one of the best lodges we stayed in.

Fyffe country lodge is a quaint, charming country house with impeccable style and comfort. The rooms were beautifully furnished and classy. Beds were comfy and the shower powerful and hot but what really made our stay extra special were our hosts Chris and Colin who were exceptionally friendly, helpful and kind to us. The breakfasts were sumptuous and delicious and we would highly recommend staying there.

My wife and I stayed two nights at The Lodge. What a great place and wonderful hosts. Chris and Colin are some of the nicest, warmest and loving people we have met travelling around the world for more than 40 years. The Lodge has 6 rooms and upstairs there is a beautiful very large room, that would be any president worthy. If you are looking for a great place to be spoiled, then Fyffe Country Lodge is what you are looking for. Best wishes from Marianne & Jørn from Denmark.

We very much enjoyed the stay at Chris and Colin. The atmosphere was very heartfelt and we had good talks with our hosts. The garden is a real masterpiece and the room we stayed was very cosy. Once we enjoyed a really wonderful salmon in the evening. Thank you very much for everything. We will always keep you in very good memory.

We had a fabulous three night stay at the Fyffe Country Lodge. Our room was very comfortable and overlooked the fields and deer next door. Chris and Colin were great hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed.
