Stayed for a week in June but wouldn’t return. The twin/double hotel room was smaller than they appear on the photos, the finish everywhere could just do with a bit of TLC and a deep clean. Had a cockroach in the room while there and the staff were great and moved us rooms, we then had a family room which is more the size I’d expect for 2. On a positive note the pool area was great, lots of loungers and plenty of shade if you want it, the staff were helpful & friendly and Paguera is a lovely place to stay.

Thank you for this amazing week staying in your lovely hotel! All of you did a great job! It is such a personal a**osphere and you all give the hotel guests such a good feeling. For me it was like staying with friends and i appreciate and really loved to listening to music in the guest-room in the evening :) - after a delicious meal. Big compliment for the kitchen. Also special thanks for the Live-music on last sunday and on friday. I really feel sun in my heart after being your guest the last 7 days! Birge (Wikinger)

This hotel is in a very good location but we didn't enjoy our stay. The whole place needs a good clean and a refurb. The two staff we dealt with were very nice but we certainly didn't get the welcome others speak of. The in room safe didn't work but I think that's deliberate as they want you to pay for safety deposit box. The buffet breakfast isn't covered and attracts flies so we didn't eat the meat, cheese or fruit. We found the hotel to be quiet but it wasn't full as it was early season, I'd imagine when the music is on it would be quite loud, but if that's why you go it will suit you. Due to the poor hygiene standards we didn't try the restaurant. We were in room 12 which is meant to have been fully refurbished but we saw very little evidence of that. The bathroom was really disappointing, nowhere to even put your toothbrush, and the shower tray needs a mat as is very slippy. We had ants in the bathroom and a couple of cockroaches in the room. The handle to the patio door was missing and there were some nasty looking stains on the bed cover. Definitely won't be returning.

Just finished 7 nights and I had the most amazing time. It is fair to say that the building is a bit weathered and not to everyone's idea of picturesque but I put this down to recent storms. Ultimately, it is the people who have made my stay so enjoyable. (both the incredibly nice staff and other attending guests.) - I really felt welcome and at home during my visit. The aura of the place is exactly what I hoped for. Zero rowdiness or noisy crowds which ticks all of my boxes. .... Loved it.

Just come back from a 3 night stay here and it was fantastic. Like home from home, from the first minute we were treated amazing. Pool is lovely, rooms are nice and staff are first class. Breakfast is lovely. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you

Lovely chilled, friendly, family run vintage hotel with a soul music vibe. Good mix of nationalities staying here. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need with comfy beds and clean linen. Fabulous breakfast buffet, constantly replenished. Recently refurbished pool with great pool bar for night time get together, there was musical entertainment every night we stayed, but this finishes at a reasonable hour. Return taxi to airport was booked via hotel, all the staff very friendly and accommodating at all times. The hotel has a very rustic and relaxed a**osphere and the owners welcome and greet the guests personally. Near to beach and paguera main boulevard, only downside is that its up a steep hill, and hotel has no lift, but I would definitely return and recommend to others. Thankyou to all the Concha Soul Team.

Stayed here last week as a solo traveller and really enjoyed it. Preparations were in full swing getting ready for summer and am sure the place is buzzing with live music in the summer. I stayed during the week and it was really lovely and quiet. My room was a good size, bed and bedding all comfy and everything nice and clean. The owners love their northern soul music and the small hotel has a lovely music vibe, Breakfast was nice the there is a coffee machine to help yourself to while sitting outside. Pool is lovely and the main town centre is 5 to 10 mins away. Oscar the host was brilliant. Really warm and kind. He made sure I was ok. Would go back,

Wow what a place! We had the most amazing trip, from the moment we walked through the door Oscar and his staff made us feel like family. We were lucky enough to try the new menu from their new chef which has some fantastic modern tapas (the calamari bao bun is amazing!) as well as some staples (great padron peppers) and (following on from previous reviews) the pool is being refurbished for the new season. The breakfasts were amongst the best continental breakfasts we’ve had with freshly baked pastries every day, fresh fruit and cheese. We were also treated to live soul music on our first night and flamenco on our last. I’d give it 6* if I could!
