Uga Bay - Pasikuda

此次蘭卡之行住的最貴的酒店，當然也對的起這個價格。房間海邊小別墅，出門即是海灘。酒店泳池很棒，視野開闊。

海邊，景色還不錯，就是周邊像農村

It was our first visit to the East Coast and had not pre-booked any resorts but had seen reviews of Uga Bay and another resort. On arrival through the huge stunning wooden gate,the entrance with the view of the ocean was just magical and that helped us make our decision to stay there. Nimali the assistant manager greeted us warmly, gave us the rates and one of the front desk staff,Dasun showed us a couple of rooms to choose from which were all beach facing. Part of the resort was closed due to renovations as it was off peak season. It is a lovely resort,well kept grounds,huge infinity pool, biggest pool I have seen in a resort. The beach area was huge,well laid out with plenty of sun loungers and beach bar with chairs and tables set out. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches and the resort is located on the best part of the beach. Rooms were good sizes, we had the first floor rooms which were bigger with a balcony facing the ocean. The restaurant had an indoor area which was air conditioned and some tables laid outside as well. The bar area was adjacent to the lobby area and there was a nice water feature between the restaurant and bar. We had booked for 3 nights initially and then extended to stay the whole week as it we was so wonderful being there. All the staff were amazing, the housekeeping staff , the pool and beach staff, the restaurant and bar staff and Reception staff. Special Thanks to Ismath, the Pastry Chef who made our stay so special and delightful as he arranged to make us special dinners most nights especially as I was vegetarian. His desserts and Sri Lankan sweets were absolutely delicious. His kind,gentle,very friendly personality and professionalism is truly an asset to the Resort. Uga Bay is a very special place and one that we will be returning to regularly. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable. The location was amazing and the staff were wonderful. The food was fabulous and the beach area was well maintained. The rooms are spacious and all amenities are of high quality. All the operations functioned seamlessly. We were extremely happy with our stay and would highly recommend it.

My wife and I, together with 2 more families spent a long weekend at this fantastic hotel on the beach in the eastern coast of Sri Lanka. The rooms had all possible amenities with a very comfortable bed. Rooms were very spacious, clean and well designed. The staff was very helpful and took an extra step towards making our stay very comfortable. Although the food range was moderate, it was tasty and palatable. The pool and the garden area was superb. The sea was little rough and better to visit in July during the season. Overall I give 5 stars.
