The staff at High Ridge Manor was outstanding. When VRBO caused a problem for the hotel, with an unfortunate double booking, they did everything they could to remedy the situation. Lisa, in particular, worked tirelessly, always incredibly friendly and helpful, to make our stay as good as it could possibly be. Despite the booking issue, we left very happy, and felt like Lisa and the rest of the staff truly cared about making our stay a great experience. The rooms and views are beautiful! We’ll be back!

I stayed at HRM with a group of friend and we were so well taken care of. They made us feel at home right away, so friendly and beyond accommodating! The views are spectacular, the bedrooms roomy and cozy with fireplace, jet tub and nice size shower. We really enjoyed the common areas like the pool room and kitchen, living area with the beautiful views. I highly recommend and plan to visit this amazing property again!

Received great ratings, did not live up to expectations. Room was freezing, portable radiators blew circuit breaker. Happy hour, thrown together with cheese,crackers. Manager was supposed to serve breakfast at 9 am , by 9:45 hadn’t shown up.

Our WHOLE family just spent the weekend at the Manor for a family wedding at a nearby vineyard. That's six couples, one toddler and two single ladies under one roof. It was perfect. The space is great allowing everyone to live on their own schedule. The kitchen and living room are great for gathering and socializing, while the rooms are separated enough to allow people to get away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy down time. The grounds were gorgeous and they have, legit the coolest bench swing ever. Highly recommend and can't wait to be back.

HRM is the perfect location. Picturesque, lush, peaceful, quiet, and calm. Everything about our stay was perfect. Every question was answered. Every request was fulfilled. We used their concierge services. Their suggestions regarding distance from wineries and booking capabilities were phenomenal. Not to mention the restaurants they suggested. Incredible! Wow! What an amazing place for a romantic Anniversary!l celebration! We stayed two nights in the mater suite and could not have been happier. The house is incredible, the grounds are beautiful, the views are breathtaking, and our host, Shayne, made it a perfect stay with his hospitality and culinary skills. It was so fun to visit with other guests while watching him prepare delicious breakfasts and afternoon wine appetizers. Hiking trails, wildlife, farm animals, swimming pool, hot tub, and a ripe cherry tree, all within a short drive from town and local wineries.… What more could you ask for! Can’t wait to visit again and see the new dishes Shayne has created!

We kept wondering why the reviews of this place were so positive about the service when no one showed up for breakfast, our room was never cleaned and the concierge seemed to only answer in bot-like texts. The property had seen better days - the views were spectacular, as long as you didn’t pay attention to the condition of the property itself. Really too bad. We kept telling each other “at least it isn’t dangerous”. Kind of expensive for that to be the take-away. I wish communication had been better even if it had only been to say that everyone involved with the property was isolating with covid. If that was the case, still not sure why they felt they should charge us so much!

Lane and Shane could not have been better hosts. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very quiet. The food and wine was exceptional but the best part was the fantastic views and the people we met. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay!
