The room smelled. Mattress not up to standard. No hair dryer in room. Marriott take your name down. Not worth the price. Front desk not very helpful. No dinner available. Not what we bought into. I do not want to keep writing. I have nothing good to say

When I am staying at a hotel for a work event and it is literally only for sleeping and showering, then I like consistency. The Courtyard was exactly that, consistent with the brand and the expectations. Sometimes a no frills no surprise experience is exactly what one wants, and this Courtyard delivered.

Desmond is a top notch manager! He went above and beyond to make all of the guests feel valued and welcomed. He greeted people as they walked by the front desk. He was very present and not a manager who just sat hidden in an office. He resolved my issue with the utmost professionalism. He is someone that Marriott should make a higher level manager. When he told me that he was filling in for the absent manager at the property, I was even more impressed. Consider Desmond for a higher level position. He is the type of manager that knows how to treat Titanium members!

Excellent hotel. Upscale, comfortable, clean, friendly. Easy check in, accurate check out. Two beds, both good. TV, shower very good. Internet good. Nice and relaxing library - quiet. Very good parking. Location/access superb. I return to area in 10 days and I’ll stay here again. Heads up for the business traveler, however: Out of Cabernet and Chardonnay for happy hour Out of four (4) basic food items for happy hour/dinner Water no longer provided, bring your own or stay at Hilton or Hyatt Two of us in double room but only provided one (1) paper coffee cup and coffee packet, one small plastic “water cup” - Since maid service only “every other day” I stopped by front desk and got hesitation for more. Continuous, lighthearted but very loud vocal banter of food/beverage personnel was overpowering, several of us had to move to library to work on our paperwork, computers. All in all - a great Marriott property, just iron out the minor mgt. issues above.

My business reserved me for two different weeks in February at this hotel. The hotel was clean, quiet, and had a decent restaurant (with healthy food options!) in the lobby. It was convenient to order a custom-made breakfast to be prepared while I got a morning work-out. What amazed me the most, however, was the customer service of the management. I didn't realize that I accidentally left my passport in the room. It was several weeks later that I received an email from a manager, Lori, regarding this problem. This email alone was amazing, because the email on file was from my employer, so Lori went through hoops to track me down! She shipped my passport to my address and made sure to verify that I received it. No charge to me for the shipping. I am humbled by this level of customer service and want to make sure that this hotel and its management gets the excellent review they deserve!

Its been a while since I was able to experience a trip like this. After 20 years in the hotel industry from night auditor to General Manager of Hiltons and Marriott’s - I have always had high expectations… (little secret- the staff didnt know!) After covid - I new its been rough on all members of a hotel staff and have taken that in to consideration. The staff here made every step a breath of fresh air. From pre check in when i booked the wrong room and had to call the hotel dor help to check in during audit - to a busy breakfast (on Thanksgiving day) to the housekeeping and maintenance staff - you took good care of myself and my family. For that we thank you!
