UUtente ospiteMy mother and I stayed at The Toki for three nights in mid-April, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Everything about the property felt thoughtful and comfortable.
The hotel is about a kilometre from the station area, and they make this commute effortless with a shuttle service running multiple times an hour between the station and the reception. Since the villas are set on a steep slope, they also shuttle guests up and down between the reception and the villas, which was incredibly convenient and much appreciated.
When we checked in, they had a Mount Fuji-shaped chiffon cake waiting for us in the dining area. It was delicious! One of the things we loved most was the breakfast service. Each morning, breakfast was delivered directly to our doorstep; at check-in, we were simply asked to choose our meal from the menu and select a delivery time. Great way to start the day.
They also offer daily housekeeping, and if you choose to skip it on any day, they give you coupons to use at the little shop near reception, which stocks food ike cup noodles, cakes, chips, nuts etc., and fun souvenirs as well.
The staff were consistently warm, friendly, accommodating and helpful, and their excellent English made everything especially easy for us.
The villa itself was outstanding. Ours had completely unobstructed views of Mount Fuji from every window on both the floors, including the bathroom, which was amazing. Waking up to those views each day was unforgettable. The sunny, clear days were a huge bonus. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, and there was even barbecue equipment for the large terrace. The villa was impeccably clean and equipped with every amenity we could possibly have needed.
We had a truly fantastic stay at The Toki, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and comfortable stay in Kawaguchiko.

Tuttavia, questa fermata non è indicata sul sito web dell'autostrada, quindi ho acquistato un biglietto per la stazione di Asahigaoka. Il prezzo è lo stesso e l'autobus si fermerà a questa stazione (premendo il campanello), senza problemi. Chiamate l'hotel alla fermata e la navetta arriverà tra pochi minuti. (Ho visto però che altri ospiti portavano gli asciugamani, non so dove ho visto il messaggio, o me lo sono perso 🤔).
In breve, questo è un buon hotel, molto adatto a viaggi lenti e vacanze di piacere, la prossima volta potrete rimanere qualche giorno in più 😊

UUtente ospiteUna notte, due pasti, vasca da bagno all'aperto, purtroppo quel giorno era nuvoloso e non si poteva vedere il Monte Fuji dalla terrazza con vista a 180 gradi, il che è diventato un po' costoso per questo soggiorno. Ho prenotato questo hotel per la vista a 180 gradi del Monte Fuji dalla camera. Il tempo non era come previsto, assolutamente no. La cena è sukiyaki con tempura, la colazione è un bento giapponese, molto abbondante.

Si consiglia vivamente di arrivare qui in auto. L'hotel dispone anche di un parcheggio gratuito davanti alla porta. Anche se non guidi da solo, c'è una fermata dell'autobus di fronte all'hotel, il che è molto comodo.

DDinex_MacauLocation is good. Remember to stay in a room with view to the Fuji Mt and the Lake. Early morning you will see the nice view in front of your room window. Cleanliness is ok. Breakfast don’t have too much choice but have the is ok, acceptable.

EErngloveHotel in stile giapponese. Un po' vecchio e fuori moda, ma lo trovo affascinante, con tatami, futon e armadio come quelli dove dorme Doraemon.
Se arrivate alla stazione dopo le 15:00, potete chiamare l'hotel per un servizio di trasferimento gratuito, che dura solo 10-15 minuti.
Avevamo una camera al 10° piano, quindi bisogna camminare un po' dall'edificio principale alla nostra camera, ma lì va bene, con una splendida vista sul Fuji e sul lago.
La camera era carina, in stile giapponese, come se avessi mai letto nei manga.
La nostra tariffa includeva colazione e cena. Poi ci hanno organizzato il tutto all'orario che preferivamo. Cibo eccellente e servizio superlativo! Anche se parlano solo giapponese al 99%, il servizio è straordinario.
Non perdetevi nemmeno l'onsen, un'esperienza fantastica per fare il bagno con vista.
Offrono anche un servizio navetta gratuito per la stazione ferroviaria, basta chiedere alla reception.

KKarina Ch.Our stay at this hotel in Yamanakako was absolutely wonderful. The location is stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery and such a peaceful atmosphere. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. We stayed in a Japanese-style room, and it exceeded all of our highest expectations — spacious, comfortable, authentic, and truly special.
The breakfast was delicious and incredibly generous. There was so much food that it was difficult to finish everything! The grounds around the hotel are also beautifully arranged and cared for, creating a very relaxing environment. We also had dinner there, which was excellent and offered at a very reasonable price.
Yamanakako itself is much calmer and more peaceful than Kawaguchiko, so for us it was definitely the better choice. We highly recommend both the area and this hotel to anyone looking for a more relaxing stay near Mount Fuji.
The only possible downside for some travelers might be the limited transportation options, but for us it was not a problem at all. There is a bus that circles the lake, and we easily reached Oshino, Fujiyoshida, and Kawaguchiko.
In the evenings the town becomes wonderfully quiet, which was actually a huge advantage. After busy days in Tokyo, the silence and calmness here felt deeply relaxing.
The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. We would especially like to thank them because my husband accidentally left his insulin medication in the refrigerator in our room. We did not even realize it was missing. After finding it during cleaning, the staff contacted us immediately and literally drove to the bus stop just five minutes before our bus to Mishima arrived to hand us the medication personally.
We were truly touched by their kindness and care. This level of hospitality is rare and unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan.
The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed.
Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you.
One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there.
I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient!
I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.

UUtente ospiteIt is very nice hotel, good facilities, nice view, clean and good mind good service of reservations. They have break time for snack, tea, coffee and good breakfast buffet. There is confortable to walk from bus station around 1 km and near ropeway Kawaguchiko only 10 meters and also near Kawaguchiko Lake. You can have activities with your family such as pedaling duck boat, ride a bicycle.
