UUtente ospiteReally cannot believe that a smaller room with low ceiling and small windows was given, so had to return to reception and ask for the correct category of room, but was told that the room booked is under maintenance, only different room was available now. After hours of waiting, the correct room was finally given. Funny thing was that when browse the hotel website, there are still same rooms available. Why such common tricks would have happened this luxury hotel?

UUtente anonimoAt the centre of the lovely town of Oxford. Easily walkable to every attractions and a large shopping mall Westgate. If you drive, the 24hrs carpark at the mall will be helpful.

UUtente ospiteWe were attending a wedding in Oxford and the city centre hotels were very expensive. The reviews for the Black Boy were good so we booked. It was a joy to stay here and we had a fabulous weekend.. Great location - about 10 mins in taxi from centre and bus stop about 5 mins or so walk. Buses went to the city centre and railway station. The room was lovely, as were the welcoming staff. Breakfasts were very good and the pub had a nice atmosphere and an outside garden area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oxford.

UUtente ospiteThe talkhouse was a really homely accommodation right outside of Oxford. The room was exactly like the pictures. The staff were incredibly helpful and I must say the showers is probably one of the best I’ve had in the uk. (Proper water pressure,temperature and drainage so I’m not swimming in my own filth). Also have a drink or dinner at the pub, it’s seems to be a popular favourite amongst the locals as well. One thing to note for light sleepers, the rooms are side by side so you might hear your neighbours & it is right by the road so you’ll be able to hear vehicles at busier times.

LLucaExcellent location and services, and the room was very clean. However, there’s an ongoing construction nearby and will be there until mid 2026. Beds were really comfortable, but the water pressure was a bit low. Breakfast was great.

WWinnie de witWalking distance to the city centre. Very clean and cosy lodging. Our room was very airy and tastefully decorated. The owner had the fan turned on prior to our arrival which made all the difference in such hot weather. Good value for money!!

Secondo il nostro paese, deve appartenere a un letto singolo, ma scrivere un letto doppio, morire caldo, avere un piccolo ascensore, come il suono del trattore, questa sera è caldo, senza difesa indipendente, le persone in due camere condividono uno, è conveniente lavarsi. Non riesco a vederlo. Non posso.

SSeñorHotelI stayed for work just 1 night. Free parking at the back was a nice touch. Although it is basic, the room was clean enough. The hotel is a little tired but served well as aa well priced option for 1 night.

UUtente anonimoL'hotel è nel centro di Oxford, a circa dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione di autobus. Ci sono diversi supermercati vicino alla stazione di autobus, che sono ancora più convenienti.La stanza offre frigo e microonde, e il calore è abbastanza caldo. L'acqua è lenta nel bagno, e quando si lava, la saliva si scorre senza prestare attenzione.
