Hotel con parcheggio a Gateshead

Questa è la seconda volta che abbiamo soggiornato per una notte mentre abbiamo visitato Beamish. La prima volta eravamo in uno dei bungalow, ma questa volta eravamo nel principale edificio del ristorante. Grazie all'età dell'edificio, era molto rumoroso. Le finestre sono solo veloci e quando i camion sono vibrati dal letto! Potresti sentire la gente nella stanza sopra e vicino a noi. La gente che cammina nel corridoio parlando a un volume normale era come se fossero nella stanza con noi. Il cibo nel ristorante era medio. Il pasto serale era troppo cucinato e asciutto. Il colazione era abbastanza bello e abbondante. La temperatura nella stanza era buona. La doccia era buona anche. Il letto era abbastanza comodo. Il personale era carino e amichevole. Non c'è niente da scrivere a casa, ma era abbastanza economico per quello che volevamo. Non ci fermeremo qui la prossima volta che andremo a Beamish, se ci mettiamo di nuovo nel rumore principale.

The Embassy Hotel in Gateshead is a good value hotel and we had breakfast included. The breakfast was continental style with Instant porridge, a little watery, fruit, coffee and fruit juice. You could have a Pan Chocolat or a cereal bar instead. It filled a gap and saved having to spend more. The room was good and we got a double bed and three quarter double. I slept very well and my wife liked the other bed too. The bathroom and shower worked well and you get shampoo and soap thrown in. TV is around 30 inches with Freeview type channels. There were two chairs on the room but only one bedside table. We used a chair for another one. It would have been useful to have a fan in the room as the rooms seem quite warm, even with the window open. There is a themostate on the wall but it's not clear if it does anything. In winter there is an electric heater. There are bi sockets near the bed, so be aware of that fir charging. You can buy snacks at reception should you rush and there is a pub restaurant next door, which opens after 11 am. . One good thing us that there gs plenty of free parking but it gets fuller in the evening, due to pub customers. We didn't have an issue and it's nice to find free parking as many hotels now charge for this. Sleep was great, shower was great too basic over a bath but responded well to temperature changes. Towels soft bit scratchy. We gave said three times and there are some good deals to be found it you need to be in the Newcastle Area. There is the Metro Centre about a mile down the road if you don't get breakfast with Ihea and McDonald's etc, so you won't starve. The hotel itself is in a very good location just a minute off the A1 if you're heading further into Northumberland or down South towards London direction. The staff are very helpful and we checked in without an issue. If you ordered, and received breakfast from another site, not Best Western, make sure you show them the invoice including breakfast. Next time I think I would go to ZUkea for breakfast as it's good to have but not worth paying extra for, unless you want a bacon bap.

Hotel molto pulito con grandi strutture. Il ristorante dell'hotel era eccellente. Anche il personale era molto amichevole.

La casa è bella, la posizione è conveniente.

Checked in quickly route to room was explained and easy to follow facilities were good room was clean burger king was convenient

I was terrified to use the communal toilet as a man was raving up and down the corridors at night. Despite 6 people complaining, he was not removed by police until early morning. Also, the cleaning staff were very loud at 08.30 Sunday morning disturbing my sleep further. It was a terrible stay the room, corridors & reception were clean and tidy. The bathroom a little smell of damp and strange wall painting but very clean. I didn't use the shower as I wanted to leave ASAP.
