Hôtel Dupond-Smith

We actually stayed at the Dupond Smith in 2022 and never got around to writing a review, but every time I think back to our trip I fondly remember the hotel and my guilt at not contributing my review surfaces. The hotel really is a hidden gem in a beautiful part of Paris. Like most Paris hotels, the Dupond Smith is small, with only a handful of rooms, but we were really surprised with the size of the actual room. We had a suite with a lounge area, a small kitchenette, and a view down a bustling street of the Marais. The room was really comfortable and spacious and the decor was as chique as you'd expect from a boutique Paris hotel. What really stood out with the hotel for us was the service and the location. We were in touch with the concierge throughout the day to get their help with reservations and to ask for local advice (Paris isn't too easy to navigate if you don't speak French!). They replied quickly, were incredibly friendly, and just went above and beyond with every request. The location too was perfect- it's nestled in the middle of the Marais neighbourhood, close to many bars and restaurants and a short walk to the Metro. What the hotel has managed to get right though, is to be so close to all the action but yet removed enough to not have the noise and chaos on your doorstep. Overall, I'd really recommend the hotel to couples looking for a magical time in Paris.

This was an incredible hotel with all the amenities one could expect from a five star. The location was close to so many great spots in Marais. The room was extremely comfortable and even had diptyque bath products. Nicolas was extremely hospitable and a wonderful baker of various cakes during our stay. We would love to return and stay longer.

This is the perfect hotel, right in the middle of Le Marais, but on a quiet side street. The hotel itself is classy, comfortable and our suite was very roomy. We enjoyed walking to so many nice places, cool shopping, and lots of restaurants! And the metro is super close by if you need it. Our breakfast was excellent, just what we needed to start the day! Every person working at this beautiful small hotel was engaging, and provided us the best service we have had at any luxury hotel. This will be the only place we stay when we return to Paris!!
