Molto bello hotel, molto pulito. I proprietari sono affascinanti e i colazioni sono copievole. Situato vicino a ristoranti. e a pochi passi dal quartiere antico. L’atmosfera è familiare e un bar si trova nell’hotel. Ottimo

The Ramada Paramaribo Princess Hotel is very simply a hotel that does not understand hospitality, and cares only about extracting every last penny they can from people. They absolutely don't care about the customer experience. I made my booking through *****. I pre-paid in full, but the hotel said they didn't receive payment. They said this has been happening for all ***** bookings, not just mine, because their booking partner is not paying them. They also said they cannot reach their booking partner to resolve this. So they are forcing guests to pay again, this time directly to the hotel, and then hope the guest can get a refund from *****. They absolutely don't care about how this makes the customer feel and even though they know this is happening, they take no steps to prevent it by proactively reaching out to guests, canceling such bookings and dealing directly with guests to avoid any nasty surprises like this. In such cases, it's very simple: any bookings they are accepting via third parties should be honored and guests shouldn't have to pay twice because of problems in the hotel's payment systems with their supplier. But, the hotel actually doesn't care about this at all because they want their money and that's all they really care about. I even called ***** from the reception, they knew my booking was valid and the whole thing dragged on for 2 hours, but they refused to budge. While this was happening, they didn't offer me anything, not even a glass of water. I asked if I could sit down and they said no, they don't have any chairs near reception. How hard would it be to bring a bottle of water and chair? It's a sign of a complete lack of hospitality and a greedy mindset focused only on the customer's money, not their experience and comfort. While I was having all this argument, another man named ”Termi” intervened and started raising his voice at me, ordering me to deal with *****. I was already doing so, but he kept repeating himself and cutting me off. At that point I asked who he was and another employee told me he's the head of security. He kept standing there staring at me, and when I asked why he was doing so he said ”don't mind me”. Even when I told him I was extremely uncomfortable with his presence and him staring at me and engaging with me the way he did, he continued standing there. What a disgraceful way to treat a customer who is already under a lot of stress! After all this, I ended up paying them because ***** was unable to guarantee me a refund, thus effectively overpaying and I had to spend hours trying to get a refund from *****. The Ramada Paramaribo Princess Hotel never apologized for what happened nor offered me anything for the terrible experience. The rooms here are dated and ugly. The property is in dire need of a renovation. There is insufficient light in the rooms. There is no socket near the bed to plug in a phone. The shower leaks making the whole floor wet. Decided to spend a weekend with my wife and son here before a month long trip. Keeping in mind that it cost over US$ 300 per night which is more than an average HILTON, MARRIOTT, or HYATTT; there was quite a lot to be expected. Unfortunately, the issues began at check-in. It was not a smooth experience, and both check-in assistants seemed not to be adequately proficient in the English language. They did not explain some of the amenities the hotel offers, and more importantly the operational procedures of the hotel. (I later had to learn that the hotel does not accept deposit by credit card). We settled into our room which was clean, spacious, and well furnished. What they could improve were the pillows. Either the quality of the pillows was inferior, or they had already been used for quite a while. We then descended to the pool area for a swim. The pool itself is the highlight of this resort. The pool is designed as a watering hole in the amazon; so it is surrounded by rock and bush formations. It even has a multi-cascade waterfall which covers a grotto. Last but not least is the full service swim-up bar. As nice as it was, the area was over crowded and seating around the pool seemed to be taken-up by walk-in guests. The main issue though was that there seemed to be a clear lack of coordination and understanding between the waiters, bar-men, kitchen, and administration staff. The waiters were heavily understaffed which led to confusion, long waiting times, and small ques. For dinner, we decided on ordering room service as we were already tired and phased out from the day. They offered room service from both the café at the swimming pool, or from the main grill restaurant. The menu was varied, allowing it to cater to your specific taste, and the food quality and presentation was impressive. Overall, its not a bad property. It is just that the quality of the staff and coordination really need improvement.....if not, then it is not worth the prices the hotel asks.

State in totale 4 notti non consecutive (2+1+1) in tre camere diverse durante una visita (prenotato da agenzia di viaggi), questo è principalmente un hotel di business e si trova a pochi passi da diversi ristoranti. Il problema principale è il sistema HVAC. Quando sono arrivato per la prima volta, la stanza era adatta per un orso polare. L'A/C non può essere spento, e il termostat può essere impostato solo tra 22° e 24° (22-23° nella prima stanza in cui sono rimasto). La temperatura della stanza è di circa 20°, e tutte le camere sono state inconfortabilmente fredde. L'aria puzza male e vi è grande condensazione in alcune aree del pavimento, sempre bagnate e slippere. La camera A/C nella prima stanza era anche estremamente rumorosa, come seduto accanto a un treno in corso. Le camere erano altrimenti ragionevolmente confortevoli. Le strutture comprendevano caldaia elettrica e pacchetti di caffè/tea. Ben illuminato area del desktop. Letto e cuscini confortevoli (ma solo un cappello straccioso, assolutamente insufficiente per la temperatura). Bagni con tutto in ordine di lavoro. Buona pressione idrica nel doccia. Nessun bagno, eccetto un bar da sapone e un asciugacapelli. Wifi ha funzionato bene. L'hotel prende una carta di credito pre-autorizzazione di $50/day per incidenti, e mi è stato informato che, se non usato, ci vorrà **un mese** per rilasciarlo! Questo non è stato sentito. Il pranzo è a la carte senza opzioni vegetariane (anche se vi porteranno qualcosa se vi chiedete), in generale niente di speciale, e molto limitato sedere vicino alla zona di servizio. Il personale è molto variabile: alcuni dipendenti sono carini e utili, mentre altri sono estremamente rudi.

The Torarica Resort is a very good hotel. The property is very expansive close to a beautiful river, and it also adjourn the Royal Torarica hotel. The staff are very friendly, they know their stuff, very professional and always wear smiles on their faces. The food in thd hotel is very hood and the portions are on the very large sizes. The only downside is the booming music coming from one or two specific bars and lounges directly opposite the hotel. The noise kept us awake most of the nights, with thunderous shakes of the windows. The hotel management must engage the government to either move the clubs or limit their unnecessarily loud music to the daytime.

Andean Trails / Wilderness Explorers mi ha prenotato all'Hotel Palacios prima del mio viaggio a Kabalebo. Shreenka al desk front era la prima persona benvenuta, ospite e amichevole che ho incontrato. Mi sentivo così benvenuta a casa immediatamente. L'hotel si trovava in una posizione ideale, a piedi dal forte, passando il palazzo presidenziale, attraverso strade strette, con le vecchie case olandesi. È stato anche vicino alla Mosca / Sinagoga e alle aree commerciali. E con una banca con 2 edifici ATM lontano. Colazione generosa e buona. La stanza era pulita e ben progettata, con una comoda materassi e buoni cuscini. Sarebbe sicuramente rimasto lì!

This was our first time in Suriname and we were blown away by our stay at Holland Lodge. 1) The staff was exceptional! Before our arrival, they helped us with an airport transfer (the airport is FAR from the city, spring for the transport!). During our stay they helped us do laundry for a reasonable price, helped us order food when we arrived late, and also helped us book a dolphin cruise last minute. Even more so they went above and beyond. I got a pretty nasty infection the day before we left for the interior and Sherona helped me find a doctor, called her on my behalf, and helped me set up the my appointment- truly incredible service! Then we ordered food a second time and were told by Pizza Hut they would take my visa credit card upon delivery. This was untrue but Lucy at the front desk immediately stepped in, paid him in cash on our behalf and put it on our room bill- absolutely amazing service! 2) This place was CLEAN- like clean clean. The sheets were spotless, the room was white glove clean which we really appreciated. 3) Breakfast- Breakfast was 12USD to add on which seemed steep but it was so nice not to worry about it in the morning and the food was fantastic. We truly appreciated our stay and the staff is truly who blew this place out of the water! Incredible. We hope to visit again!

We stayed at this hotel for our conference that booked it for the entire team. The food was amazing. The staff were extremely friendly. The only downside was the fact that we could not control the air conditioning. In my case, I really wanted it to be turned off but it had to be left on due to humidity. Another downside noise coming from the street because my room was close.to the main road and there is very little sound insulation. But overall this was a beautiful property and the food was very reasonably priced.
