It's a great location on Ken river with scrumptious food and welcoming staff. Very close to Madla gate, Panna Tiger Reserve. The accommodation is quaint and extremely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Rahul for taking such good care of us.

It was a great stay amidst nature. The food was excellent. The resort staff was helpful and humble. Evenings were well spent at bonfires watching the wildlife documentary. All thanks to the resort manager Rahul who arranged each and everything asked.

For the amount of money they charge, this is a terrible place to stay. Their common area stinks (literally). They do not clean up between meals, so I am eating lunch with food and napkins on the floor from Breakfast time. They do not ventilate the place, so it stinks of food all the time. The cleanliness of the place is just terrible. Dust, Cobwebs, monkey poop (NOT kidding) and rats running around. Don't even get me started on the table mats and napkins. It is like they haven't washed it in a month. They stink. I am sorry but this is not what one expects when you pay upwards of Rs 25,000. Night 1, the waiter asked me about starters AFTER I finished dinner. I alerted the staff and the manager about these issues. On the last night, they brought a new piece of cloth and put it on the table!!. Such a lovely tree house being mismanaged. All it needs is a thorough cleaning and maintenance. One hopes the owners take notice. It rained while we were there making the long walk to our villa cottage a muddy mess. The pick up and drop (would have happily walked if the ankle deep mud was not an issue) hand long wait (40+ minutes one time). The rooms in the villa cottage were very old fashioned. The mattress was thin, beds were like those in a govt hotel and the space heater was not adequate. We booked a hotel in Khajurajo and left one night early. No refunds were offered. Good things: - Food was very tasty and the safari jeep and guide were excellent. Manager tried to help with safari additions and was very helpful when the pickup taxi driver that he arranged, came drunk. He arranged for another vehicle and that was nice.

Very good rooms. We stayed in river side cottages and it was amazing both the room and the view. Very good service by the staff - warm, friendly and also accommodating for all our needs like the food for our little one. They arranged for more breakfast for safaris. They arranged a nice boating tour. Everything they did was great despite it being a busy season. Further the bonfire concept ***** with starters was great too. All in all I think the place is fabulous with friendly staff, great stay and great services. Food was good too.

4 nights at Ken River Lodge. It is nestled on the serene banks of the Ken River near Khajuraho, offering a unique blend of rustic charm and wilderness. Located close to Panna Tiger Reserve, the lodge serves as an ideal retreat for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. Our Villa provided an immersive jungle experience without compromising comfort. Rooms were clean, neat & tidy. We enjoyed the evening boat ride on the tranquil Ken river, indulging in birdwatching . It seemed we were in the Okavango Delta in Botswana without the Hippos 🤩 The jungle safari trips were very well organized and we were lucky with mesmerizing wildlife sightings. The lodge's eco-friendly ethos, combined with warm hospitality, makes it a perfect getaway to connect with nature . For meat lovers the Mutton & Chicken kitchen preparations are " Melt in your Mouth" types. The " Tree House Kitchen" is unique. Great food , nice Bar and super sit-outs overlooking the Ken River. Sitting and chatting in the lawns by the fireside on a cool night ..wow... Ye Dil Mange More !! Rahul Ranawat the Operations lead at Ken River Lodge is the guy who is ever present , helpful and willing to take care of your needs. His team were all extremely well behaved and efficient providing excellant service . Looking forward to chek- in again !! Breathtaking vistas !!

Nice place. Not too fancy, but with everything you need. We were with extended family and stayed in 4 huts for two nights. Positives : Rooms are comfortable and have sufficient amenities. There was always running hot water which was a blessing in the winter Staff is extremely polite and helpful, and specially in the dining area and willing to go the extra mile. The dining area is river facing, incorporates a jungle lodge look with trees snaking through the floor plates and is built over 3-4 levels. A nice place to sit and relax. My son forgot his spectacles when we checked out in one of the rooms and they had it delivered to us the next day in Khajuraho city. That was much appreciated. Areas for Improvement: While the food was fresh and warm, it lacked something. A little heavy on the masala but not exactly finger licking good. I’m used to boutique lodges like this having really good food. So this was a bit of a surprise. But the staff was quite friendly and responsive so overall the experience wqs not bad but if they solve this - then it would be definitely a winner. All in all - we had a good time , and can recommend. Is well located near Madla gate.

We were charmed by this property during our December stay. We felt really at home in this jungle lodge. The room was spacious, immaculately clean & comfortable (extra large cozy bed, great hot shower) with some delightful old world safari lodge touches. We had a forest view room. Waking up with only the sound of birds, in the midst of India, so peaceful & private. You really have the feeling you are staying in the jungle: with the 1 minute walk to the treehouse restaurant, with great views on the river It’s then the warm, attentive & cheerful staff and all the nice little touches that really make it amazing. Included in the price (making it great value) are 3 abundant & delicious meals, as well as a high tea. High tea, for example, one day included delicious tandoori grilled vegetables served to our little private bonfire. Also a nice jungle safari movie shown in the evening, and animals just passing through willy-nilly We also did the river safari and we highly recommend that. A peaceful & gracious cruise ***** the river with the birds. Our friendly guide took some incredible sunset pictures of us after (an additional) high tea on the rocks. Overall our favorite (& possibly best value) stay so far 2 months into our 3 month trip around India.

Off from teh hustle & bustle of city life , teh location of this property is heavenly! Right on teh Ken, amidst verdant vistas , a variety of birds chirping , pure unadulterated O2 around , one can only sigh in bliss :) Rahul & Luv made sure to check on us & give us interesting tidbits about Panna & else. Little details about food & whatever we required was promptly & meticulously followed. All meals were tastefully cooked. Teh boat ride was amazing & educating about teh river & teh birds. Teh safari incredible for we could gaze at leisure as teh RBT walked in regal beauty past us!

One of the most unassuming jungle resorts I have visited. Serene, rustic, earthy yet attentive to every detail a guest would require. We stayed at the stilted cottage facing the river. The room is huge, with a separate dressing room and a spacious bathroom. Attached is an expansive balcony almost as big as the room! Well maintained, neat linen and working appliances! The hospitality was impeccable, the staff was polite, generous and very attentive of our choices. Food is simple and tasty…the menus are not repititive and they would feed you to death! 😂😂 They have a well stocked bar which is a little expensive. They packed us a sumptuous breakfast for the morning Safari which was an overdose of food as much so that it fed the two of us and 6 more people there. Not your people who are looking for entertainment or music being played for Corporate off sites. It’s purely to soak in the rustic and natural environment. Loved the place. Thanks Rahul and the entire team for your hospitality.
