Podere Molinaccio

The most magical week imaginable. Podere Molinaccio is ideally located in Umbria with access to sites, cities and activities throughout Umbria and Tuscany. The villa is beautiful, comfortable, relaxed and close to the ancient hilltop town of Panicale; itself a great place to explore. Chiara is an incredible host. Like having a close friend in Italy connect you with the best local people and activities. Chiara works tirelessly to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying the best of the Valdichiana region. Don't miss the truffle hunt with the Filosi brothers (Stanley Tucci fame) and their amazing Lagotta dogs (Livio is the best). We are already dreaming of our next visit with Chiara and Podere Molinaccio.

Chiara was so sweet and took care of us so much. We had lost luggage for a week and she took time to help with translation and calls with this mess. Beautiful home and such a relaxing environment. Panicale is so chill and not touristy. She also helped us with reservations which turned out to be excellent!

Hands down, best guest house experience! Chiara was a gem and helped us find and reserve wonderful trips to hunt truffles, taste wine and swim in thermal springs. Her recommendations were amazing and full of wonderful details. The house felt new, and very clean, but was full of history and charm with antiques. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen had just the things we needed on the rare occurrence we cooked at home. There were only 3 of us, so we luxuriated in our own large rooms and private bathrooms. There was even a 4th bath off the kitchen with a washer. We can't wait to come back and continue exploring the wonderful historic areas, wine regions, thermal areas and local farms for apples, olives, etc. Next time, we stay 2 weeks and relax more by the pool! I highly recommend!!!

The place is magical! The stone house is serene, the pool inviting and the surrounding area absolutely stunning! Chiara is in a league of her own. She is a host with knowledge like no other. Need a restaurant reservation or a bike rental or a secret spot in the region. Chiara is your go to person. She does it all with grace, patience (with my rudimentary Italian) and her energy to help is unmatched. We wanted a quiet week with some activities during the week. Where do I begin writing about our amazing stay in Panicale at Podere Molinaccio? First of all, the home’s owner Chiara made our week much more special thanks to her attention to details. She helped us with our itinerary weeks before our trip. When we arrived, she was like our own personal concierge and tour guide. For one, each day we had a destination to a different town in Umbria. At the end of the day, coming back to the Podere was a reward in itself. Chiara arranged a local chef to come cook for us several nights, and treated us to Roman croissants, made us special coffees, and also even helped us cancel a lunch reservation last minute. One evening while we were driving back to the house, she helped us locate a pizzeria that was open for us to bring dinner home. The house itself is lovely, very comfortable, quiet and was perfect for our group. Panicale was one of our favorite small towns - we had a lovely dinner there that Chiara arranged, and regretted we didn’t spend more time there. We can’t wait to return!

We had the most amazing stay at Podere Molinaccio! Just a short distance outside of Panicale, a beautiful Umbrian hill town. The rooms are spacious - and each has a lovely view of the countryside. Chiara was a wonderful and gracious host, always available to answer our questions and provide suggestions for local restaurants and activities. If you are looking for a quiet location that serves as an excellent launching point for all your Italian adventures - this is the place for you!

Chiara is the most gracious host. Podere Molinaccino is an oasis in the hills of Umbria. The setting of the beautiful, spacious home with a pool and cabanas for shade made it ideal for the hot June days.

This was one of the best holidays we have ever taken. Chiara, made it all possible. In addition to her beautiful home, she was so helpful in planning incredible sojourns to nearby destinations.
