We spent 1 weekend here and had a great time. This is a place where you can relax, take long walks on the beautiful beach, explore the sea life, take pictures and enjoy. The lodge has many cliff viewpoints where you can have a great time with a very nice coffee or a cocktail. The staff is friendly and always ready to help you with everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the chef is excellent, so you get delicious fresh meals served. This is a place we can recommend to people who love nature and a good life.

What a gorgeous place by the Indian Ocean! Our room was a beautiful, airy, very large thatched roof bungalow, that allowed the ocean breeze to keep us cool even on a hot day. Attention was paid to every detail of the elegantly designed bungalows and lovely outdoor shower. The grounds are gorgeous, with many private sitting opportunities overlooking the sea. The food was superb. If you are looking for a romantic place to sleep to the sound of the waves, this is your place. The owners, a Dutch couple, are engaging lovely hosts and the Tanzanian staff are the sweetest ever!

Friends and I visited pangani Cliff lodge for a weekend get away. Beautiful hidden spot with an amazing sea view. We had a wonderful time there. Owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. High quality service with amazing food. Definitely a must go!

THE place to stay near Pangani. Pangani Cliffs Lodge is across the river from Pangani on the cliffs overlooking the sea. It is an absolute haven. Wish I could go back tomorrow. Comfy beds, good food, lovely location and very friendly staff. The new owners, Wip and Ricardo, just took over in June and have made it a very welcoming, relaxed place to stay. They organised a superb snorkelling trip to Maziwe Island and can arrange other excursions too. Would highly recommend staying here. At the time of writing, Pangani Cliffs Lodge was not yet listed on ***********, so contact the hotel direct for booking.

The individual lodges are well thought out and comfortable. Airy but with mosquito nets ( although didn’t see any while there) and an electric fan to help cool if necessary. The food well designed menus ,nicely cooked food. The new dining area over looking the sea a great addition to a lovely hotel. The new owners are working hard to ensure all guests needs met ( increased Wi-Fi signal so you have it in your room as well as main areas ) the beach front provides some lovely walks along the shore at low tide with great rock pools to explore. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing stay.

Pagani cliff's lodge is a quiet, remote, cozy retreat, right at the Indian Ocean.Three beautifully designed bandas and further hotel rooms provide, simple but cozy and pleasant atmosphere for the guests. Riccardo, his wife, their manager Rama and their staff showed superb hospitality and treated us with delicious, fresh regional food. Moreover they helped us to plan free time activities in the area. We had a great, relaxed time at the lodge and enjoyed sitting on top of the cliffs watching the tides come and go, but also strolling along the beach at low tide with several stops for swimming in one of the natural pools. We highly recommend Pagani Cliffs Lodge and we will definitely return soon.

My wife and I stayed at the pagani cliffs lodge for our honeymoon vacation to relax after several exciting weeks of Safari. The entire staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful and unforgettable. I especially like the beautifully designed, simple but elegant banda on top of the cliffs, the private outdoor bathroom, the view over the ocean, the small bay with a white sand and the fresh locally sourced, three course dinner menu. I am already looking forward to return to Pangani Cliffs Lodge for my next stay in Tanzania.

Our family of 7: 4 twenty-somethings and 3 of the 'older generation' spent a few days here at the end of our amazing adventure through Arusha, Moshi and Lushoto. It was exactly what we needed: impeccable service, beautiful views, just another glimpse of the best Tanzania has to offer. Gourmet food, fire pit and lanterns appearing at just the right time topped it off. It was a wonderful end to a wonderful journey for us. I would give anything to be back there right now!
