Pamplona: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

We have stayed at this hotel every year for the last 8 years when it was the Alma and the standards and service have always been excellent. Sadly, this is no longer the case having been taken over by Eurostars. The reception staff were as delightful as ever checking us in. The first shock came when we were told that the spa is no longer free but subject to a charge of 15 Euros per person for 1 hour. The spa was never busy so I can only conclude that this is a money making exercise by the new owners. If they did want to limit numbers they could simply employ a booking system without the need to charge. The better news on check-in was that we had been upgraded to a room with a terrace rather than just a balcony. The first task on arriving in the room was to make a coffee (no drink offered at reception as there always used to be). There was no milk in the room (and no complimentary water, only some in the fridge costing 4 Euros), so I rang reception to ask if they could bring some to our room. This quickly arrived but the receptionist was rather embarrassed to tell us that on this occasion there would be no charge for the milk but if we requested any more, there would be a charge. We could go to the bar ourselves and collect some if we wished. Not the sort of service we had when it was the Alma. The terrace had no furniture at all so I asked where this was. Apparently none of the rooms had any outside furniture. The previous owners had taken these items away and in the subsequent 3 months, the new owners had, apparently, been unable to source any outside furniture. The terrace was useless, therefore, unless you wanted to sit on the ground. We did pay to use the spa but had no bath robes in our room. Only when we arrived in the spa did we see someone else with a bathrobe. On checking with reception, it appeared that we should have had some in our wardrobe. The receptionist quickly found us 2 robes. If the hotel is now charging to use the spa, I would expect it to be in excellent condition. Sadly, 2 of the three shoulder jets were not working and, once again, there was no water available as there always used to be. We ordered food at the restaurant for our evening meal and I then asked to see the wine list only to be told that they didn't have a wine list but the waiter could recommend some to us. Just in time, we stopped him opening a bottle costing 45 Euros. A restaurant of this standard with no wine list seems extremely odd. In the morning, we went for breakfast and were asked our room number and told it was a buffet breakfast. We had several items from the buffet but I could not find any yoghurt. I was told they had none until some more was delivered. It seems very strange that a hotel of this standard should fail to keep supplies of such a basic breakfast commodity. No one approached us during our time in the restaurant to offer any other food for breakfast. On finishing I went to reception to ask if they had stopped

I’d give it 6 stars if that were possible. From the moment we checked in we knew this was a top notch property. The front desk staff are incredibly professional, friendly and go out of their way to assist wherever they can. Housekeeping is exceptional and the turndown service at night is just wonderful — always leaving us bottles of water and chocolates by our bedside tables. The bathroom towels were luxurious and changed daily, the water pressure in the shower was delightful. Our junior suite was very comfortable and restful and we had a lovely balcony view of the Plaza del Castillo minus the noise from the street down below. In short, we had a WONDERFUL week in Pamplona and this establishment deserves its #1 spot hands down. Muchísimas gracias al Gran Hotel La Perla, lo pasamos de cine. Hasta la próxima.

La stanza è stata molto costosa. Non lo apprezzo come 4 stelle, poiché circa 3 hotel a 3 stelle sono così buoni e offrono migliori strutture. Ha una sala da fitness e sauna e ristorante e bar. La camera è standard dimensione, un po 'oscura perché la metà inferiore della camera è dipinta grigio scuro con una grande immagine oscura sopra la testa del letto. Direi che il bagno è stato ristrutturato ma non la camera da letto. La finestra si trova sul 5° piano. 2 bot di acqua e 2 bot di vino bianco e un pkt di gelatina morbida sono regali di benvenuto. Non ci sono strutture per la preparazione di caffè/tea, quindi ho chiesto un caldo con qualche tè/caffè. Una caldaia è stata fornita con un paio di tazze di tè, nessun caffè e un po' di latte per la prima notte. Penso che io continuerò a chiedere più scorte, la custodia è fatto ogni giorno, ma le tole non sono cambiate ogni giorno come alcuni hotel. Lavato capelli/carni in uno è fornito, ma nessun condizionatore per capelli come la maggior parte hotel in Europa. Nessun lavastoviglie facciali forniti a meno che non sia richiesto. Nessuna tavola di ferro o di ferro. Nella stanza c'è un cassaforte e un frigorifero. Aircon funziona bene. TV è molto piccola. Il telecomando è molto difficile da premere per cambiare canali e abbiamo dovuto premere i pulsanti manualmente dietro la TV. Ho attraversato molti canali, ma non credo ci siano canali inglesi. Cercavo di fare una foto con il buffone posto davanti all'hotel senza toccarlo o vicino a lui, ma un paio di persone si sono adattate.

UNICO PLUS: La posizione centrale in una piazza molto graziosa, tranquilla e silenziosa. MINUS: La camera che ci è stata assegnata (2 piano) non è per niente simile alle foto che avevo visto durante la prenotazione: - poco curata e con mobili vecchi, rovinati e usurati - corridoio con moquette piena di macchie e polverosa - scarsissima insonorizzazione (ogni porta chiusa o persona che parla nel lungo corridoio si sente nelle camera di giorno e di notte) - forte odore di candeggina (usata per pulire il bagno) che pervade l’intera stanza - nessuna accortezza da 4* (non forniscono nemmeno una bottiglia di acqua all’arrivo!)

Bell'hotel (NH è una garanzia). Hall molto spaziosa. Personale gentile e professionale. Suite ampia, pulita e accogliente. Grande bagno usufruibile da entrambe le stanze. Letti comodi. Ottima colazione, varia, ricca di dolce e salato con buoni prodotti. Un po' decentrato ma situato in una zona tranquilla. Possibilità di park a pagamento all'interno dell' hotel (al coperto) oppure libero in un grande piazzale. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo.

We had a twin room (on a tour) facing the street but there was absolutely no noise. The windows were double glazed and easy to open. The room was spacious enough to open two suitcases without tripping over each other. The beds, although they seemed hard, were remarkably comfortable. The bathroom was a good size, shampoo, body wash and soap provided. Towels large and the shower over the bath was a good size, good water pressure and a welcome change. Breakfast was great. No cereal but hot choices as well as breads, hams,cheeses. Nice hot coffee that doesn’t come out of a machine. One issue was the lifts and this is just being picky. They stop at floors you didn’t request, they close VERY quickly and will continue to close even if you stand in the doorway. And they really are tiny! However would definitely recommend this hotel.

L’hotel si trova nei pressi del centro, con una piccola passeggiata di una ventina di minuti si raggiunge la Piazza Centrale o meglio chiamata Plaza del Castillo. L’hotel, un ****, e’ molto grande, ha un grande banco reception con tre persone ma purtroppo nessuna parlava la lingua italiana. Le moto sono state parcheggiate nel garage dell’hotel, la scelta di questo hotel è stata data dalle stelle, dalla posizione e dal garage. Sbrigate le formalità di rito sono salito in camera dove trovo un’ampia camera con un letto molto grande, una stanza pulita ed un bagno altrettanto pulito. L’hotel dispone di un bar con apertura diretta sulla strada e di una sala colazioni separata dai clienti del bar. La colazione continentale con scelta sia dolce che salato è stata di ottima qualità

The hotel is in an excellent location in Pamplona, but you cannot reach it by car - at least not with your own (perhaps taxis have a permit, I don't know). However, the parking option they offer is very convenient. You go to a very close-by public underground parking and give the ticket to the hotel front desk, which will charge you a discounted rate. Get the instructions from the hotel. The rooms were clean and modern, and the balcony looked out onto a square (Plaza Consistorial) right in front of the City Hall (Ayuntamiento), itself a very attractive old building. Breakfast is in the adjacent bar and good for what it is. Staff at the front desk is efficient and friendly enough; staff at the bar is more uneven - some very friendly and others less so. All in all a very convenient and reasonable option for a Pamplona vacation, very close to wonderful restaurants and the in the center of the old town. Recommended.

La stanza è grande e la posizione è comoda che può andare ovunque facilmente. Tuttavia, ricordate di acquistare abbastanza cose per la stanza, perché ci sono poche cose per il vostro soggiorno.
