Hotel a Palmela, Portogallo

I visited Portugal on a group tour that included stays at three pousadas. A big takeaway from my experience is that pousadas are remarkably variable. Pousada Mosteiro de Guimaraes, was fantastic, while Conimbriga Hotel Do Paço was abysmal. This one, Pousada Castelo Palmela, was somewhere in-between. I recommend you choose your pousada carefully. The positives of Pousada Castelo Palmela are many and significant. It’s a magnificent building with fantastic views. I recommend you save some time to explore the fortress the hotel is part of, and, when weather permits, you go to the west side of the pousada’s grounds to enjoy a lovely sunset. However, the staff of this pousada could improve. I got the impression that the place was understaffed, and not all staff were fully trained. Dining was disappointing; the pousada’s restaurant has limited capacity and books up quickly, and there are few if any local restaurants to use as an alternative. To solve this, you could book half board, or reserve your dinner table well in advance. However, I don’t recommend that because, as well as being small relative to the number of guest rooms, the restaurant isn’t very good. My dinners here were frankly awful – uninspired and badly served, often cold. I recommend you go grocery shopping and bring food with you when you return to the hotel, or use Uber Eats to have your dinner delivered (as I did).

Ci sono utensili da cucina e controinduzione per cucinare nella stanza.È buono cotturare rami ㅎㅎ Tuttavia, se non hai una macchina da noleggio, è sconveniente vivere, quindi devi noleggiare una macchina.

Le aree circostanti erano così tranquille e magnifiche. La stanza stessa era confortevole, ma un po' fredda. Le viste potrebbero essere migliori, perché le finestre si trovavano di fronte al parcheggio. Le suggerisco di avere una finestra più grande di fronte al sole. La colazione era bio e deliziosa e il servizio era molto amichevole. Grazie per tutto.

Letto grande e comodo camera grande con tende male odoranti, personale gentile , sono rimasto bloccato in ascensore, camera rifatta dopo 3 giorni era una suite. Colazione buona. L'Hotel è meraviglioso come struttura ma è completamente in disuso, sembra che stanno attendendo un nuovo acquirente per ristrutturarlo tutto. Infatti la cucina è abbandonata, uso solo per colazione, ristorante con sala spettacolare e terrazza panoramica praticamente abbandonate allo sfascio. Bar inesistente , hanno messo una macchina caffè gratuita 24 ore nella Lobby .... Gravissimo che mi hanno obbligato a pagare 8 notti subito con carta di credito prima di vedere la stanza, infatti dopo 2 giorni me ne sarei andato ma non mi avrebbero rimborsato....... Nessun Hotel nella mia vita mi ha chiesto il pagamento anticipato al Check in per 8 notti, può succedere per una sola notte. Sconsiglio di andare se non viene ristrutturato.

Mistakenly booked this instead of a hotel in Lisbon but no regrets. Room was spacious for 3, included breakfast was very good (especially in free singjng), staff all round were very helpful and welcoming. Room was clean and to be honest, beds were almost the best we've ever slept in. Absolutely recommended.

This is a 3-star hotel masquerading as a 4-star hotel. The units that were recently renovated got the landlord special: the doorknobs were falling off the bathroom door, the A/C just didn’t work (the staff insisted it did, but we needed to open the window regardless), and the shower doesn’t have a proper barrier so water gets literally everywhere despite your best efforts. The rooms are tiny giving you no space to get takeout or eat a snack. There are plenty of tables downstairs and poolside but the staff insist you cannot bring outside food even though there is no restaurant using those tables and the tables have no use outside of breakfast. The rooms are expensive for the location and amenities. There is a pool but honestly you don’t come to Portugal to swim in a hotel pool. I’ve stayed at many hotels and I’ve never had a worse experience at a so-called “4-star” hotel. At least with 3 star hotels they’re cheaper and you know what you’re getting. We actually had a better stay at another local hotel last week. A large family suite with powerful air conditioning for far less than this tiny double bed room with a vent that blows oddly humid and slightly cool air.

Sono insegnante di un gruppo di studenti, il nostro soggiorno è stato di 4 notti e, a dire la verità, le aspettative non erano molto buone a causa delle cattive opinioni del posto. Ma la verità è che sia il personale dell'hotel che le strutture e il buffet ci hanno lasciato soddisfatti; è vero che non è un hotel situato in una zona di svago, ma abbiamo avuto il necessario e basilare per dormire. L'unica cosa che migliorerebbe è la varietà del buffet, anche se la qualità era buona, e il personale era sempre in attesa delle intolleranza alimentari dei ragazzi/a (anche con opzione vegana).

Una grata sorpresa en este viaje fe Portugal. Había leído muchas opiniones malas o mediocres del hotelcy para nosotros ña experiencia fue de 10. Llegamos desde la estación de buses y son 5 minutos andando, enseguida lo ves. Nos hicieron el check in muy rápido y pese a que la habitación no la podíamos usar hasta las 15 nos la dieron nada más llegar. Nuestra habitación estaba ubicada en la planta 6 y la verdad que perfecta, tenía todo ventanales quw daban a un prado verde con animales. No sd oye ruido de la calle con todo cerrado. Te Dan una botella de agua por cortesía el primer día. Algo muy curioso es que el baño tiene bañera y para que no te resbales te dejan una alfombra antideslizante para usar nueva todos los,días en la bañera. Los geles con los que te lavas son de la marca Rituals. Tienes albornoz. La habitación perfecta con hervidor y selección de tes y cafés que te ponen todos los días de manera gratis. El WiFi funciona perfecto y la televisión tiene canales en Español por si quieres verlos. El sistema de limpieza de habitaciones funciona muy bien y todo el hotel está más que limpio. Tema desayuno perfecto, es de los pocos hoteles donde se puede ver que hay comida justa caliente y a medida que esa comida se va acabando reponen de la misma. Tienes de todo tipo de panes, HUEVOS frutos y revueltos,mermeladas envasadas de manera individual. Cafés. Todo la verdad que de 10, con un horario que va desde las 730 hasta las 1030. Referente al spa y la piscina y gym, decir que la piscina está genial a una temperatura buena sin ser excesivamente calurosa y te permite poder hacer algunos largos. El jacuzzi no funcionaba en toda nuestra estancia y te puedes duchar abajo sin subir a la habitación, además con un horario muy amplio que va desde las 8 a las 22 y un gym que abre las 24 horas del dia

Abbiamo prenotato questo hotel non sapendo molto di esso dagli Stati Uniti. stiamo soggiornando 19 giorni e è un ottimo hotel. Le persone sono molto carine e professionali. La stanza è molto fondamentale come noi cercavamo e molto pulito. Il colazione ha una grande varietà di pane e frutta con uova e salsa. Il caffè è molto buono con una vasta varietà. Lo consiglio a chiunque non abbia bisogno di un posto fantastico per soggiornare con un grande servizio e camere pulite. Grazie per il buon soggiorno all'Hotel Litau.
