I always love my stay at Desert Riviera. Palm Springs is my go to destinations. The rooms at Desert Riviera are quaint and well appointed. The service is great, the staff seem to really care about me and go out of their way to make sure I have everything I need. This particular stay, I was pretty much alone there which I love. This is a place you could enjoy year round, my next visit may be during winter.

This boutique hotel is infused with a warm, retro-chic charm that captures the spirit of Palm Springs perfectly. Plus, the friendliest, most helpful staff you can find. The grounds are lush and peaceful, with a sparkling pool, relaxing music and the sound of birds chirping. What really sets Desert Riviera apart, though, is the hospitality. The staff is super friendly and genuinely care. They were more than happy to help me with some printing needs. Our room was clean, very spacious, and well-appointed with a full kitchen and complementary snacks. Did I mention they bake their own muffins and bagels for the continental breakfast? Super yummy! Fresh coffee and fruits available all day at the front desk. Cute matching retro bikes are available to explore the neighborhood. Pure relaxation and charm. We can’t wait to return!

We come back here every year. It is charming and has a great Palm Springs vibe. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. It is the perfect place for relaxation. They serve popcorn in the afternoon and coffee by the fire pit in the mornings. The continual breakfast is great as well. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Stressed after travel plans changed and I needed a last-minute stay in Palm Springs, I was grateful when the Desert Riviera Hotel and its great reviews popped up in my search. And what a gem it was! Comfortable, clean and peaceful, with fun, mid-century decor and the most incredibly welcoming staff. There were so many generous touches, like free snacks and drinks in the rooms, and an overall effort to make guests feel important. Count me among the many guests who are thinking about a return trip!

My husband and I recently stayed at the Desert Riviera Hotel. We are already planning on coming back in the future. The people we met at the motel had stayed there in the past and wanted to come back. That says a lot. The pool was warm and clean. Everyone came out there in the afternoon and evening and it was a lot of fun. The little things the motel did was great. The crushed ice, bottled water and popcorn were very much appreciated. We loved the laid-back atmosphere The people working there really cared about the people staying there. The motel was close to everything you want to go to. We will be back to stay here.

We did have a lovely time in Palm Springs, and the Desert Riviera was comfortable and friendly. The level of finish quality of rooms and communal areas wasn’t as we’d expected or experienced elsewhere in Palm Springs or on this or previous California trips. Breakfast was included, however except for the days Stephen was on duty and brought some REALLY delightful home made treats, the breakfast was otherwise poor. Our ‘induction’ wasn’t great so some of the hotel rules and tips weren’t shared so day one the room wasn’t serviced. We did catch up on that and a couple of other bits not shared. Nice and friendly, but not one for us to return to unfortunately.

This was a very friendly and authentic hotel. The hosts are genuinely interested in the guests. It's not been tarted up too much, so it has a real mid-century feel. When we went there were mainly people from 'up north' enjoying some winter sunshine, so it was quiet. A lovely base for our vist to PS's Modernism Week.

Absolutely loved our stay at this quaint boutique hotel. It is the little things that matter and they seem to have that covered. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. Pool is amazingly warm and watching TV out by fire table by the pop corm machine was a treat. Parking no problem and we are looking forward to coming back.
