The City of Palm Springs has resumed in-person meet and greets pursuant to PSMC 5.25.070(m). “The Owner or the Owner’s agent or representative shall meet the Responsible Party in person at the Vacation Rental or the Owner’s or Owner’s agent’s office prior to, or within twenty-four (24) hours of, the commencement of the occupancy and verbally explain and describe all rules and regulations applicable to the use of the property as a Vacation Rental and the responsibilities of the Responsible Party to the neighbors and the City as well as the Owner. The Owner shall secure the signature of the Responsible Party and all adult guests to a statement of rules and regulations …” There are so many great eateries and restaurants near us, and most are a ten minute bike ride away, or a five minute car ride. Try Cheeky's breakfast, or the Manhattan in the Desert for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Try Nina's if you're in the mood for Mediterranean, Tyler's for burgers and El Jefe for great Mexican at the Saguaro Hotel just down the road. All of these spots are less than 10 minutes away from our home. We are five minutes away from Downtown Palm Springs, fifteen minutes from the Aerial Tram, and very close to all other major attractions. If you have a bike, you could bike to downtown in roughly 10-15 minutes, and even to local restaurants and a super market in less than 5 minutes. There's also a local Palm Springs shuttle, which is free (you can find more info online) Home Truths: - Hot water heaters are instant and may take a minute of running the hot water to get the hot water to the faucet. - Property faces a busy road so you can hear road noise especially from the master bedroom but it usually dies down around 10pm. - Neighbor behind us has 1 dog that barks from time to time - We are in the flight pattern like most homes in Palm Springs and planes can be loud. - The pool area only gets a few hours of sun. - It can be very windy in the area, umbrellas MUST be closed when not in use or when windy. If umbrellas are broken due to wind damage, guests will be charged a replacement fee. - The pool can get dirty very quickly at times due to desert weather. We'll do our best to get the pool company out there as soon as possible. The pool is not very deep and is not meant for diving. Please, watch your children closely in the pool, and swim at your own risk. Never let children unattended in the pool area. **NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have to pay twice the pet fee or will have their reservation cancelled immediately. Any fines, citations or penalties imposed against us for actions triggering a violation of the City of Palm Springs will be deducted from the security deposit. Such examples can be found in our House Rules. In the City of Palm Springs, Occupant must be at least 25 years of age or older. By continuing with this reservation, Occupant represents that they are older than 25 years of age and further warrants that other occupants are either over the age of 25, or are accompanied by an adult guardian. NOISE: Palm Springs has strict ordinances that govern vacation rentals. In particular, we want you to note that "NO outside music is allowed at vacation rental homes." I know, we all love our tunes out by the pool, but it's just not allowed by law. Music may not be heard at the property lines at any time of the day (that includes music coming from inside the home). Please abide by this rule so you don't get fined by the police, and so we don't lose our vacation rental permit. Pool Heating and Spa (if applicable to this property): *Pool heating can be hired for the whole stay: $150 for the first day then $100/day thereafter. Please inquire about extra fees if booking long (28+ night) stays; *Pool heating when hired is limited to 84F; *Pool does not need to be heated during the Summer months (June-August) it’s usually 80F+ naturally; *Hosts will not be able to provide any refunds for occasional non-working pool heating that occur during your stay but we will do our best to have it solved in a timely manner. *Spa/Jacuzzi when available, its heating is included and initiated on-demand by the guest onsite. Any tampering with or overriding of our settings will result in a complete loss of the amenity and security deposit forfeiture.
