Blackberry Hills Munnar Nature Resort & Spa

We loved our stay here. Lovely resort away from the bustle of munnar town but only a ten min tuk tuk ride away. The rooms were lovely, nice comfy large bed, and good shower . The staff were all very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble . We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was excellent . We were there for New Year’s Eve and they put on a lovely banquet and live music. We enjoyed the tea tasting and a morning yoga session. Make sure you ask about the Shola Tour, which is just an hour’s hike around the local area, got to see the tea pickers working and amazing views. I loved the fact they are trying hard to be eco so they don’t give you plastic water bottles and the lovely herbal shampoo and body toner were provided in small earthenware pots , not plastic. So refreshing! Don’t hesitate it’s a great place to stay!

If you’re looking for the real Misty Mountains experience then look no further than Blackberry Hills. Our room 601 up in the tress with stunning views. It was amazing to experience the incredible sunrise with the sounds of the local villages celebrating their seasonal festival ***** with the dawn chorus was out of this world. Followed by yoga at 7am was just magical. The local monkeys came to visit in the afternoons. Eagles and a multitude of birds to see and hear. Beautifully arranged resort over 10 acres which scales up the mountain, with an incredible infinity pool which is almost completed this resort will be the finest in the area. The staff go out of their way to help and the service is first class. Easy access to the roads through the plantations. Stunning location. Last but not least the Hornbill restaurants food blew us away recommend both breakfast & dinner with your booking.Our stay here has been the highlight of our time in India.

We had an amazing experience at BlackBerry. This is an eco resort, giving amazing care to the quality and beauty of everthing and merging with the amazing nature all around. We spent 5 days wi the our children and it was unforgettable. The staff, especially Mr Robin, made our stay so memorable and personal. The restaurant is an exceptional space overlooking the mountains. The pool was not finished but when it is, it will be spectacular. Easy access to Munnar, make this place perfect for excursions. Our guide, Arun was great so knowledgeable. We will be back

Also wanted to share my TripAdvisor feedback: I had the absolute pleasure of staying at BlackBerry Hills Nature Resort and Spa in Munnar, and words can not fully capture the experience. Nestled amidst the breathtaking mountains, this resort offers the most stunning views that are truly a feast for the soul. I visited as part of conducting a wellness retreat, and the morning yoga sessions at the lookout were nothing short of magical. Performing sun salutations as the rising sun painted the sky was transformative. And when the clouds descended, it felt like we had been transported to a mystical, otherworldly realm. The tranquillity and connection to nature were beyond words. This was my second time conducting a retreat here, and BlackBerry Hills somehow managed to surpass the incredibly high expectations they had set on my first visit. The staff’s attentiveness and warmth were extraordinary, from the seamless check-in process to the meticulous care they showed me and my participants. Their culture of putting guests first is evident in every interaction. The kitchen staff, led by an exceptional chef, Mr. Ravindar, catered to all our requests with grace and creativity. Every meal was a culinary delight, crafted with care and attention to detail. A special mention must go to Mr. Ranjit, the operations manager whose leadership and personal touch set the tone for the impeccable service we experienced throughout our stay. The spa at BlackBerry Hills was another highlight, offering a rejuvenating escape that left me feeling completely refreshed. I was so taken by the entire experience that I extended my stay by three extra nights just to soak in the tranquillity a little longer before returning to life’s hustle and bustle. I usually never write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so because BlackBerry Hills is truly a gem. For anyone who respects nature and seeks an experience where you’re treated like a cherished family member, I can not recommend this place enough. I’m already counting the days until I can return!

It is a beautiful place in Munnar, different atmosphere. The resort is surrounded by trees nested for different varieties of birds and monkeys which made the surrounding calming like never before. It is truly nature healing place to your mind. Staffs are very friendly, kept engaging us and they kept kerala tradition alive. And when it comes to food it’s the best place in Munnar, I thoroughly enjoyed food at their place. Overall a memorable stay.
