Hotel in zona Bato ni Ningning, Palawan

Sono stato qui prima e sono felice di tornare! La manutenzione di giorno è stata impeccabile. Bagni condivisi sono sempre stati puliti. Angelo dal desk front era molto utile. Ha raccomandato attrazioni che possiamo andare e ci ha aiutato con le nostre domande. Il colazione era buono, questo posto è anche vicino alla zona con molti ristoranti e buone caffetterie.

Sono rimasto a Carp Diem per diverse notti, come parte di un gruppo di sei adulti, e ci siamo davvero goditi della nostra visita. Ho visto diverse camere / villa, e sono state tutte presentate bene e ben mantenute. Le piscine private con le villa sono state particolarmente piacevoli e la piscina principale è anche buona. Abbiamo prelevato la maggior parte dei prodotti sul menu, e tutti erano ben preparati e non c'era niente che non ci piacesse. Portazioni generose di dimensioni e buca divertente complimentare dal cuoco ogni notte. Sicuramente rimarrebbe ancora!

Il tetto era molto piacevole con la piscina e il bar infiniti, il personale era super sorridente e piacevole parlare con, il personale sembrava pulito e ben intagliato, il ristorante era bellissimo Il meno positivo è che la doccia avrebbe potuto essere più pulita, il cibo era ok, niente di male, ma solo su un basso standard che era ancora ok per il prezzo che abbiamo pagato, più lo considero normale in Filippine, Non potevo aspettarmi che cucinassero cibo occidentale come il ristorante Michelin star. In generale, un soggiorno molto bello e certamente un grande valore.

Il posto è riposto dalla strada principale che è bello. Il personale era amichevole e utile. Il letto era molto comodo. Il WiFi era buono. Ho avuto mango per colazione ogni mattina. Erano molto buoni. La decorazione era un po' cucina. Ho soggiornato in due camere diverse e una ha certamente bisogno di più aggiornamento di quella seconda. Una cosa di base come la lampada di luce rotta (1 su 2 nel tetto) avrebbe dovuto essere notata prima che ogni ospite accettesse. L'unica denuncia che ho riguarda i tour che mi hanno “venduto” dopo la prenotazione. Il direttore delle vendite mi ha inviato un'e-mail con diversi nomi di tour e nessuna descrizione o spiegazione. Ho cercato di ricerche e ho deciso di prenotare 2 tour con l'hotel, perché volevo pagare con carta di credito sul conto dell'hotel, quindi non dovevo trasportare così tanto denaro. Il ricevitore non aveva alcun record di tutte le visite che ho prenotato. Il manager di vendita non ha mai prenotato le visite, anche se ho ricevuto un'e-mail che mi diceva che tutte le visite erano state confermate. Fortunatamente, il ricevitore poteva prenotare le visite per me alle 11:00. Tutto ciò ha creato stress che non avevo bisogno all'inizio delle vacanze. Poi mi sono presentato con la fattura per le visite per il pagamento in contanti. Mi sono chiesto cosa gli altri che si sono recati e mi sono stato pagato un premio del 25%. Ho detto all'hotel che per quel premio potevano prendere il pagamento con carta di credito. Non molto. Solo sgradevole.

This is supposedly the only 5 star resort in the area which is sad as I think competition might actually inspire them to do better. The place itself is very nice and initial impressions are quite excellent. But the longer we stayed the more we noticed the lack of upkeep in the rooms. The size of the bathroom is big but there is not a single electrical outlet inside so you cannot plug in anything not even the hairdryer. The shower glass door does not close shut and with the very strong water pressure you can be assured of a very wet overflowing floor outside of the shower enclosure. We paid for 2 extra persons in the room which they informed us meant sharing the beds and breakfast inclusive but they don’t automatically provide the extra towels. Even after calling them to request for more towels they still took more than 2 days to give us our extra towels. The water in the pool is quite warm and not refreshing as the heat of the sun kept it quite warm but some of our friends actually liked it that way so it’s more of a personal preference. The drying rack in the balcony is a nice touch as we can dry our swim clothes there. There are also water dispensers in the hallway which is great for refilling the complimentary glass bottles of water provided. Buffet breakfast is included in the room rates but don’t expect anything extraordinary. The Italian restaurant in the resort does not seem to be ready for the tourist influx as food came out ever so slowly and we felt bad for the foreign tourists who don’t complain as much as the locals so we did get our food faster than they did. The resort is expanding so there is construction ongoing which is a positive sign of tourist revival in PP which I’m happy about for them but I wish they would also pay closer attention to the upkeep of the existing rooms.

Great hotel. It was fantastic, the rooms are very huge and super comfortable. And the best part is the staff in the hotel. The customer service is beyond my expectation, super friendly and helpful. Good restaurant. And the food was also great. Over all! Im very satisfied! Keep up the good work.

A group of us stayed here the night of arriving in PP before embarking our scuba liveaboard and chose the hotel as it was where the liveaboard company did a town pick up from. Simple accommodation, but clean and functioning. Very spacious rooms - we had 4 girls sharing one room with two double beds. The bathroom/shower was a little tired but I only had one quick shower. A pretty garden surrounding a pool - I didn't end up swimming as it was quite a hot, muggy, grey day and the pool was more warm than refreshing in that moment, but I also only spent about 18 hours total at the hotel so if I was there longer I would definitely have had some pooltime. It was cute watching some local kids have a mermaiding lesson. The restaurant is not set up for large orders so bear that in mind timing wise - it is a one chef kitchen. If you are landing at 7pm or later make sure you request the chef stay if you want dinner on site as they will otherwise leave at 9pm. The chicken & mushroom pasta was good. Breakfast was also good - fruit, pancakes and egg, but only instant coffee. I particularly liked the access to free drinking water refill - there is a cooler in the dining area. The staff were helpful - with the chef staying late for us, helping us call to book some massages down the road at Nuat Thai Spa, helping me get a bowl of rice for lunch when I tried to order when the kitchen was backed up we made a plan B. Location is a bit further down in the quiet end of Manalo St. It isn't far to walk up to the part with restaurants, coffee shops and the spa, but I probably wouldn't have done that walk alone as a female in the dark so I would stay here with a group more than solo. I'm sure it is very safe, but as a general rule of thumb I don't walk alone in the dark down quiet streets. After the liveaboard I stayed in the 'busier' part of Manalo St. Would I stay here again - well if in PP I would probably go to my second hotel as a repeat customer as it was just nicer all around (but also cost double the price). However, Acacia is perfectly adequate for the price point if you are looking for accommodation close to the airport or the boat pier in southern PP at a very reasonable price and it is true to the pictures.
