Fantastic experience in the cottage. Nice views of the wine yard from the terrace. Clean rooms and calm environment. Water pressure was good and internet worked ok even is not the best connection. Good breaksfast and food in general in the restaurant and very friendly staff, welcome drink(glass of wine) and complementary cava during breakfast. There is a “van” to pick you up from the room to the restaurant/shop/parking. Also our tour in the wineyard well explained and the tour guide was very nice to us in the tour and in the shop. Very nice staff in general. We will comeback for sure next year and I totally recommend the stay if you look for a calm environment near Khao Yai park.

The Accommodation We chose to stay in the intimate Wine Cottage, featuring only 7 rooms. Our room, Cottage number 8, a Vineyard Deluxe on the 2nd floor, offered a cozy and private atmosphere. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a choice of Rosé wine or 100% Shiraz Grapes juice from the winery. The cottage boasts a charming country-style décor with warm colors, natural materials, and simple furnishings. A spacious outdoor balcony provided breathtaking views of the vineyard. The large comfortable bedroom included a king-size bed with two pillows per person, a living chair area for sipping wine and coffee, a working desk, and a smart television. Guest amenities included a wardrobe with bathrobes, in-room slippers, a water boiler with instant drip coffee and tea, and a refrigerator stocked with minibar snacks and GranMonte wine for purchase. The clean bathroom featured vintage tile wall decoration, amenity kits with high-quality toiletries (from Panpuri brand), a hairdryer, and towels. Stargazing at GranMonte A highlight of our stay was stargazing at night. The Wine Cottage holds a Dark Sky Thailand certificate, offering an exceptional experience of the night sky while emphasizing the importance of protecting it from light pollution. For a unique and unforgettable experience, GranMonte Vineyard and Winery is highly recommended. We captured a stunning picture of Venus, stars, and the moon during our nighttime stargazing, making it a perfect night ever. Morning Bliss and Breakfast at Vincotto Restaurant After a peaceful night's sleep, we enjoyed an early morning walk and bike ride around the vineyard. Breakfast at Vincotto restaurant (7:00-10:00 AM) featured outdoor seating next to the lotus pond, offering a beautiful nature view. Vincotto provides four set menus: Thai Breakfast set, American breakfast set, Continental breakfast set, and Egg Benedict breakfast set. Each meal is served with a glass of sparkling wine "GranMonte Cremant" and fresh 100% Shiraz grape juice. Our favorites included the delectable "Egg Benedict" and the Thai Breakfast set, particularly the "Kai Krata." The American breakfast set, along with seasonal fruits, homemade bread rolls, banana cupcakes, and hot beverages, provided a satisfying start to the day. GranMonte Vineyard and Winery, with its Wine Cottage, provides an ideal escape from the city. Relax in the mountains, breathe in the fresh air, and enjoy the stunning scenery. Whether you're into stargazing or exploring the local attractions, GranMonte offers a perfect blend of tranquility and activity.

Our second visit and again far too short for this quiet and unique small guest house in the Asoke Valley with stunning views over the vineyard. To appreciate the great wines on offer join an interesting wine tour and taste what can easily rival with some good wines from many other well known wine regions. Great shop to ship your selection but regrettably no acceptance of Platinum CC. The VinCotto fine dining was the highlight of out stay with some exquisite dishes accompanied with world class quality wines made with passion. We shall be back

Das Gran Monte, war für uns absolut ein Traum. Sei es die sehr ruhige, friedliche Lage in mitten der Weinberge. Unser großes, sehr schönes, sehr sauberes Zimmer mit Blick auf die Weinberge! Die leckeren eigenen Thai Weine. Wir waren sehr positiv überrascht und davon sehr begeistert. Was Khun Visooth und seine Familie daraus gemacht haben. Welweite Gold Auszeichnungen seiner Gran Monte Weine. Wir haben eine Weinberg Tour und eine Weinverkostung gemacht. Und können das sehr empfehlen. Es wurde mit Begeisterung darüber Berichtet und Vorgestellt. Ebenso das sehr leckere Frühstück und Abend Essen im Vino Cotto. Wurde mit sehr viel liebe gekocht und serviert! Ein weiterer Pluspunkt die kostenlose Fahrradvermietung. Die haben wir sehr genossen um morgens damit zum Frühstück zu radeln. Natürlich kann man auch zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten das Restaurant erreichen. Oder sich mit dem Shuttle abholen lassen... Sehr professionelles und sehr freundliches Personal! So rundherum wir waren sehr begeistert von diesem kleinen Paradies, einem Stück Himmel auf Erden! Und empfehlen es zu 100% weiter. Wenn man die Ruhe und auch Weine genießt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!
