We had one of the 'deluxe' rooms which are all on the 2nd floor. (No lift and Only 8 rooms face the sea and mostly family rooms.) We faced a garage, banging and workmen noise, and junk yard on one side, although we did have chairs and table outside the door to admire the view and a 'for sale' plot of land on the other-so no view there in the future either. Asked to be moved but none available, the lady was really nice but advised that the lower floors faced a concrete wall and small yard each. The apartment was basic but had what you could need to self cater. The furniture was very ikea style and seen better days. It was mostly clean (kitchen window blinds dirty) and the shower had good power. There was a small 'laundrette' which was grubby and untidy. $3 a wash and $3 dry I think. Parking is not allocated and not enough spaces. They are mostly in front of the downstairs apartments along the side of the building. They are really, really tight, everyone was complaining. Would not stay again, very disappointing. Small shop next door to the garage but not much else this end of town. It is a good 20 min walk along the sea front to town and food/shops. There are very many motels along the front which looked much more modernised and better quality. Have asked my tour operator to review and remove from their lists as it is not their usual standard at all.
