Church Farm Haven Holiday Park

Once again, a wonderful stay. Not much beats Havens offerings, but Pagham, stands out. Van immaculate as always. Ground kept really nicely, but its location, location, location. I love this place. Back in a couple of months. Thank you CF team.

We have been visiting Haven sites since 2014 with our two young daughters. This is the first haven we’ve done on the Sussex coast as we’re from Gloucestershire and normally go to Devon. This is one of the best maintained, cleanest Haven sites we’ve visited. All of the communal areas are pristine, there are lots of staff maintaining this. Bins were always emptied which prevented horrific seagulls which is a plus. We had an issue with our caravan initially, our check in time was 5-6pm and the cleaners didn’t leave the van until 5.52pm, so we had two VERY tired children at this point. Didn’t notice at first but our caravan absolutely stank of stale smoke. It’s clear the previous visitors very selfishly smoked inside the caravan which is prohibited. The next morning we did report this to reception and this was quickly rectified by the fabulous Carolina in Reception who found us a lovely new caravan. Carolina was so welcoming, patient and she loved our dog which we loved too! Lovely zip wire and park area, swimming pool on the small side but ample for the time we visited (I would hate to go in full summer as I don’t think the pool would be big enough!). The onsite pub/restaurant the Mash and Barrel was excellent. We had lunch in there 3 times and it actually exceeded our expectations. Kids eat for £1 and two adult mains for £12.50 is an absolute steal! Arcade was clean and well maintained. We had really good luck this time on the machines and managed to win about 20 things from loading £10 onto our card (arcade is completely cashless now) Only downside for Church Farm is there is very limited things to do around, Bognor is run down (one sweet shop, couple of pubs and a miniature golf). Pagham is small with 1 shop and 1 cafe (although lovely). So if you’re looking for things to do away from the park then Church Farm probably isn’t for you. A final note which I will be taking up with the park directly is about the dog policy. It’s clear many of Church Farm have people owning private caravans. We left our dog in the van whilst we went to the entertainment as we have done so since 2018 and we’ve never had a complaint. We had a call from Reception (the staff member was really lovely no problems with her at all) saying our dog was barking. I went back and the caravan next door (clearly owned) had two large dogs off their leads persistently barking right next to our caravan with the owners outside sat on a bench making loads of noise. This was obviously what our dog was barking at. A bit of a sour way to end the holiday. Nevertheless, a good stay.

Friendly staff and a well maintained and clean site. Caravan was very clean and bedding fresh and newly laundered. Caravan had tv’s and CH and electric fire. Microwave,fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, gas cooker. USB points. Located around a large Lagoon, with easy access to caravan and your own car parking space next to caravan. A good sized swimming pool indoors and outside play areas for children. Plenty of choice to eat in restaurant or take away, or have food delivered to the caravan.
